hi everyone, i was diagnosed with fm 3 yrs ago, and it has gradually got worse, even the pain clinic has discharged me 6 months ago as she said she couldnt do any more for me. the pain is unbearable and i'm taking 8 diahydrocodeine and 10 tramadol, using a heat pad, and taking clonazepam and amitriptyline to help me sleep so i dont wake up stiff and sore. none of it seems to work, does anyone know of any other pain medication i could try, and cn i get morphine on prescription, thanks

    Hi Sue

Poor you one thing after another. Sometimes the tiredness is worse than the pain at times. Hope your back isn't too painful today as well.

My cold is gradually getting better now. Think going to leave it until next Monday then start with exercises again. My son will be back at uni so will have house to myself apart from Stewart my husband. Shall miss my son as won't have any children at home again. But will be good to have a bit of a quiet time as well. My son loves playing music on the piano and also listening to music. Can be just nice to have peace and quiet at times.

Hope all goes well when you go for your mri scan. Will be thinking about you.

Hi I was diagnosed in Nov 08 but have suffrered with many symptoms for a couple of years. I have tried many medications but have found amtrryptoline 75mg, gabepentin, diclofenic and paracetamol seem to be the best, and keeping warm. I still have pain but with the meds it releives me, however if I do too much the pain and fatigue comes back. Hope this helps.
