Do hope your daughter gets on ok on Tuesday, and you as well Ses. Don`t be afraid to tell the GP all of your problems, its good fo them to get the whole picture as its often something we think is not important that gives them the real clue to a diagnosis.
Ihave thought for the last 15yrs, we had a good GP and since listening to some of the stories posted on here I now appreciate him even more!! Although I have suffered with depression for many years, whenever I went to him with new symtoms, he never just passed it off as depression, he always took time to find out if there was another reason first. Although I now think I`ve had Fibro for a lot longer than 20 months it took just three appointments for him to check for tender points once I was in such terrible pain.
we`ve had another nice day here today but according to the tv, tomorrow is going to be colder with rain and sleet!! How lovely for us.
Well take care everyone

We are very lucky to have a good gp who will listen! I have only been seeing my good gp for about a year but he has done so much for me and listened to me every time  He is not one of these drs who hurry to away when you are not ready.
Really don't like this cold weather. Won't be going to far tomorrow then if there is sleet on the way.
I do hope I get better sleep tonight but have been getting lots of pains in my knees and legs being restless.
Hope you get a good sleep to Linda and everyone else!

Thanx to all of u for ur words of encouragement.
I`ll keep plodding away. The GP does recognise that Fibromyalgia is real...so thats one bonus I guess.
As usual, unless u meet the criteria...they won`t diagnose u. Don`t know whether I should be glad or not. Doesn`t change the fact that I ache all over...lol. Hey ho!!
Weather has been fairly sunny but cold here. Snow has been predicated tomorrow, but on the higher ground thank goodness.
Was up and down like a yo yo last night. Lets hope tonite is better.
I wish everyone a peaceful night.
(A little laugh....the other night when I got up for the loo during the night, I was hobbling round the bed (as u do) to get to the door. I lost my balance at the foot of the bed and keeled over onto it... I think Ian got more of a fright than I did. Either that, he thought his luck was in and I was trying to jump his bones.... )

If I were you I would take your daughter to get checked out. Its best to know then you won't keep worrying. The worrying wont do you fibro any good lol  I hope she gets on ok.
Ses has been asking about you Di. She started up a new page not so long ago Hi Di how are you or something like that. No one went on it.
She was on the other one that was four pages long and asked if someone would start up a new page so we could all probably be on the same one!
I started up this page that we are on.
Talked to her today on other page and is ok apart of course from all her aches and pains like us all. She also has had to take her teenage daughter to the doctors with pains in her knees. She is waiting for xray results back for her daugther. She has also joined a new dr practice.
Maybe you will both finally get to talk together soon.
Hi Lindy you are right to keep plodding on. If your doctor believes in Fibrio ask him if he can refer you to see Rheumatologist who will then be able to check out the pressure points for you. Its worth a try lol.
You really made me laugh about what happened to you last night. I bet Ian was a bit shocked lol  Hope you were ok.
Well hope you don't get the snow tomorrow and we don't!
Well hope you do get a better night sleep and don't fall on Ian lol.

Yeah I started a page \"Di how are you \" xxx and you did not reply so I PMnd you xx
And thanks Tess for putting Di in the picture as again I am so fatigued I got to sleep at 5.30 am and woke up at 7.15am due to Ethan my two year old waking up, my daughter Olivia said you go back to bed mum, as she woke up at 9.00am but then she started being sick so she screamed and got me again out of bed...... so absolutely goosed again  I think it is my breathing that is keeping me awake as I feel I am forcing myself to somehow???? the GP put me on these brown inhalers (preventer) and they have done nothing so once again I feel it is my thyroid as I feel my airways are kind of restricted in the neck area??? I will say this to GP tomorrow  and Olivia will see if there is anything wrong if the results are back???
Yeah it is so good Linda your GP supports you, as this is why I changed GP's as my old Surgery was useless, he'd prescribe you co-codamol before you spoke!!!!!
Hi Skye well I thought it was funny too about your predicament, the only thing is my functions do not work sometime so when I am in the mood it soon goes away and then I feel awful? but it doesn't get me down it is just annoying  I hope you didn't hurt yourself though? as I kinda of bruise easy??
Hi there Di well I do hope your suspicions are not ME..... could she have fibro? as I know of a mother and daughter that has it ? has she had the pain for sometime as she has to be in pain for more than three months a criteria for fibromyalgia ? and I do hope the fatigue lifts you and everyone as it is though the plug has been pulled out eh!!!!
Got most of my xmas presents now thank goodness as me and my eldest daughter went to Iceland today and Au Natural as it is right next door so I got the shopping delivered and got loads of bargains so I was chuffed....... the only thing is though my knees and hip is excruciating as I am having to force myself to walk, Tramdol is not working what so ever so again I am going to point this out...... just the Osteo, had no medication to treat this?...... makes me wonder though if they did........ what would mixing tablets together do to me, as I already take too many and it does bother me? sorry waffling now...it does make you wonder thought eh???
Anyway my dear buddies xxxxx I do hope everyone has a good night sleep sweet dreams and all we can do is keep smiling ...... Roll on summer:roll:
Take care xx

My daughter keeps asking when will it be summer, Ses! Among her other problems, she does suffer in the cold.
Ses, you mentioned mixing drugs and the amount you take, I don`t want to interfeer but do you take Amitriptylene for the fibro as well as the tramadol, for your OA. When GP diagnosed me with OA in the knees several weeks ago he said I couldn`t have Tramadol because I am on Amitriptylene???!! Just wondered if your GP mentioned this to you. The pain killer I had instead, worked really well, but made me so drowsy that I still couldn`t do anything! So no solution there.
Di, do get your daughter checked out, my daughter was ill for about 2 months in the spring, (she is 30 so not a child) She spoke to GP and voiced her fears that she might have chronic fatigue or fibro (I have elements of both) and they soon put her mind at rest. She was very afraid that she would become like me. It turned out to be a very nasty virus, with similarities to meingitis, that appeared to be affecting staff at the hospital where she works.
Well its very cold here this morning, had to scrape the cars before we could go out! So I`m not expecting to be very mobile today! Lol
take care everyone

You didn't get a very good sleep! I hope you got on ok at gps today with your daughters results if they were back. You must be really tired and I hope you get a better sleep tonight. It is a lot colder here today and had a sharp frost this morning. We had a little bit of rain this afternoon.
I hope you are ok Linda and not in too much pain today. I have my knees and ankles hurting and sore round my back. I have been naughty today and the first day I not done any exercises lol
I had a friend come round for lunch! My husband had a day off so her had lunch with us. My eldest daughter popped round with Molly as on school holiday and of course the new little one Sophie. They stayed to lunch and later on my daughter Claire came round as she on a day off today! She is the one who is training to be paramedic.
Had quite a hectic few hours but was good to see everyone. Sophie made herself known with lots of crying bless her! Was good to see Molly as don't see as much of her now she is at school.
Well after all that decided not to cook tonight and have an Indian lol.
Might pay for it later but what the heck!
Hope you all have a good sleep.

How are you all today! I am like you lindy I don't drink very much and only need a couple glasses of wine and feel sozzled. Nothing seems to help with the pain really! Think it is something we have to try and live with or keep it low with our pain relief. I must admit I don't take too much for the pain as it doesn't always seem to work lol. During the day I can cope more as keep myself busy! Night time is the worse though
Thanks. Don't know what they are going to do though today and how often will have to go for the fibro! Need to know what will happen with OA if they discharge me today. Did that last time and no one was checking to see how bad it was getting. It had been about seven years since they first did xray on my toes and said I had OA. Then never saw me again until June of this year because of Fibro. Now I am waiting to see Podiatrist about the tendons in my big toes. There is a long waiting list
Will catch up later time for some breakfast!

How are you all today! I hope not in too much pain  Well saw Rheum yesterday. It was a young lady dr this time was very nice. Asked how I was and what medication I was taking. She talked about the Fibro and asked if I had any questions! She said as I was taking ampytripline for the sleep and doing some exercises I was taking a positive approach there was no more that they could do for me. She has now discharged me from the hospital. I did think that would happen as the gp can do more especially with meds etc. She looked at my xrays for Oa and said I had it in some of my fingers, wrists, knees and toes. It is not too bad yet but couldn't rule out say in about possibly 15 to 20 years time might need some new joint especially my right knee. Nothing to worry about now and if I feel it is getting worse just go back and see gp.
Was only there about forty minutes and paid for two hours in car park lol  You can only pay for two hours at a time its a rip off! Apparently they had been really busy before we arrived and it had all calmed down. Only had to wait quarter of an hour before going in.
Have you heard about your daughter's xrays Ses? I hope they were ok.
Did you take your daughter to the doctor Di about her pains? I would take her so you don't worry too much and make your fibro worse.
Well take care all!
