Just heard on news that taking omega 3 or flaxseed causes type 2 diabetes I don't know for sure but I'm typing this as I'm listening to the news just an fyi

    Maybe you heard wrong or didn't understand what was said, that there is an increased risk for those who have diabetes to take omega 3 and possibly flaxseed. In fact it is not recommended to take omega 3 if you have diabetes.

      Why not a good ideal Sochima? I have low blood sugar most of the time but i also get high I take salmon oil gel cap w/D

      Good for you, you can take omega 3 and flaxseed without any issues.

      We ALL do! Omega 3 is called an 'essential' fatty acid for a good reason.

      One time my reading was 240 many years ago and they said my A1C was a little high but the weird thing is MOST times its low! Hormones in the years of peri always dropped my blood sugar thus all this weight gain eat due to fear of keep hitting rock bottom. BUT I have never been diagnosed as a diabetic . Diabetees runs in my family some thing awlful. Sorry for late delay I went to church and just got home around 9:00pm.
