    Would love to go back to Mexico but my husband doesn't like long flights now

      Hi Sharon,

      I only stopped off for a day from a cruise in Mexico.

      It looked beautiful.

      Maybe he'll travel just once more for you.

      Can live in hope have been there twice it is beautiful swimming  with dolphins was a dream  come true

    I only work very part time my husband has 5 more years to retirement. If all goes to plan we are trading our motor home in for new one and have already started a bucket list of places to go and things to see. I would love to see Tulip Fields in Holland a visit to family in Germany. Memories on the Isle of White and a trip to Scotland. Spain Portugal and many more. Hope we will both be fit enough to go travelling. Can't wait!

    Bosherston's lily ponds, because it's spectacular and one of my favourite walks, through woodlands then out into the open and a succession of lilly ponds that lead down to the beach and I haven't been able to do this walk for around 10 years rolleyes

      Food nice too.

      I was in Venice for one day on a day trip from Yugoslvia a long time ago, it was beautiful.

    I would love to do Hawaii again! The lava fields, the rain forest...beautiful. But I have trepidation about that long airplane ride. Lots of getting up and downs required.

    Hi Alan,

    I would like to go to Italy especially the Lakes. My husband has promised to take me once both my knees are fixed. It will be a belated 50th birthday present.

    I want to get to the top of Tiede the Volcano in Tenerife, we did it 4 years ago and I couldn't make it to the top and had to sit half way up and wait for the rest of my group to do it and come back. I am going to go back and make it to the top 😄

      I might set a similar goal, I have been to the other Canary Islands but never Tenerife.

      I need to set a goal for when I am a bit better.

      I'll be Googleing cheap breaks to Tenerife today.

      Hi Alan

      We usually book a villa in Tenerife near to Los Christianos which has lovely golden beaches, Costa Adaje is also lovely but a little more upmarket.

      Hope you find a good deal, I am thinking of booking something for early next year, the brilliant thing about the canaries is it's an all year round destination, I would also like to visit the other islands, which is your favourite?

      Hi Sandra,

      We usually go to Lanzarote when with the kids. On our own we would go to Puerto Mogan in Gran Canaria. So either really. I have booked Lanzarote for a week on St. Stephens day (Boxing day). I love Christmas but find after Christmas day it can g err t boring if the weather is bad, which it often is.

      If we can squeeze a week in around August, I might check out Tenerife.

      Having accomodation on the beach is a top priority for me. I just love getting up early, going for a walk and a swim first thing. Playa Blanca in Lanzarote is beautiful.
