What a roller coaster of a day. Got admitted at 4pm & had huge anxiety attack. Settled down now & they're giving me sleeping tablets to help me sleep. My surgeons been in & tells me he's trying to slot me in 1st thing & I should be back in my room by lunchtime. Wish me luck. This has to be the scariest experience yet, the positivity on here has kept me strong x

    Oh I don't know what to say, I'm petrified and I haven't even done it yet! Mine is early December and they will have to pry me out of my flat and into the hospital! I'm so scared of the spinal thingy, please let me know how you get on and don't forget many have gone before you and survived!!

      Got mine november 13 and i am so scared, got first assessment next week all ready having nightmares, but all the lovely people before us are there to help, thank god for them eh, where you having yours

    All the best. Sometimes waiting is the worst. I'm on my way home from hospital. Literally. Hubby is picking up celebration prawns and I'm so relieved. You'll be there soon enough.
