No tricolor. Just cold to red

My Dr claims it's raynauds. My hands, feet, ears, and one time, knees will turn red and warm. Happens once a day or so... Just started out of the blue two months ago. Never turns white or blue

Raynaud's is so individual. I see some comments on here that are so different from my experience. I would say that tricolor is your experience and to use it as a means to figure how your body reacts to the cold and how the colors reflect your stage of the "attack" or "episode" as it is called.

I have secondary and it appears in minor cold (like an air conditioned room or shortly after leaving the shower) and some times of stress but is horrible in extreme cold. There is not much for me to do when I get back in from marvelous Chicago weather but wait it out or run a bath that is lukewarm or cold then increase the heat the longer I am in the bath. If it went hot initially I would be in extreme pain.

I am huge on preventative measures. Even if something doesn't look that cold, i.e. a train pole, I have a glove on before touching it. I try to dress warmly but money is an issue, but I definitely do layers. Keep your core warm so that your body can dedicate more energy to the extremities. Drink plenty of water and try to avoid things that make the blood vessels narrow (smoking, caffeine). But lol the doctors can pry my coffee cup from my cold, dead, spastic hand. Massage and elevation help some. Nothing has helped me as quickly and efficiently as a Guinness.

Haha. Self medicate with Guinness. I like your style!
