Nobody seems to suffer with Deja Vu

So it feels like I am on my own with this one. A lot of people on here seem to describe their anxiety symptoms and most are similar but mine are so different. I get deja vu and sudden burst of intense panic and fear from nowhere which last seconds. Had all the tests but my phobia in life is Seizures.
I am scared what this might be

The problems you have can be associated with Anxiety.
I suffer Deja-vu when I enter a room, strange when I am at home I suffer same. I believe I am in bed with the lights of the Bathroom shining through an open door, it can be more sinister than just that I will reserve this problem
I am keen on History and I visit Castles and Historic houses sometime I get a shiver when I enter rooms that I visit. Personally I do not understand it and I need to be careful if I have visited a property before.
Have you had words with your GP ?

I would imagine if your GP is stuck it will be your Anxiety. I know when I have same it is quite rare and I have put it all down to my medications and any side effects.
All I can advise is next time you see your GP have a blood workout and then accept your results. Your GP will be able to put your mind at rest.

I have had deja vu before but I wouldn't say it is more so than anyone else or in relation to my anxiety or panic attacks. Do you have panic attacks without the deja vu or only with it???

I get the deja vu feelings sometimes, usually associated with anxiety attacks. It doesn't happen very often, but occasionally.

Hello Phil/Jonathan
What you describe can be quite normal, we can grin and bare it. I personally do not know how it can be treated. Sometimes as we get older we can suffer the problem. I would end up remembering my life at work. It happened when my Office was converted into a block of flats. I was looking at the drawings in an estate office and even though the set up was different I was taken back to the time where I used to work and my desk and office furniture. It lasted for a couple of seconds, I gave a shiver and that was it. We all have sensations like that, I can look back to where I went for a holiday and can imagine myself there.

I just get a sensation that I've been there before and-usually-that something bad was going to happen. But it never did. The sensation didn't last long, but it was kind of unpleasant. Just one of those things, I guess.

In the past I had thoughts where I was in a similar house like where we live now, we had the bungalow redesigned to what it is now. When complete it seemed to look very much like my past memories. Could it be we have visited this world before and we are remembering other times.
Just a suggestion

Damn I'm so sorry Jonathan. Rn I'm having the same fear. I wish I could comfort you but I'm in the same bot. I've been having constant twitching, this feeling where I feel a head rush of energy... like something is about to happen, then I get a jerk, like I've short circuited. I've also been smelling things that aren't there, I keep smelling burnt rubber, and I know it's not real. I also get headaches regularly, nose and eye pressure, light and sound sensitivity. Also just today I was driving in the car when I had sudden déjà vu and my right arm started twitching at the same time. For me it all started 4 weeks ago, Im 21 btw. I haven't had a grand mal yet but I'm scared I will. I hope you aren't epileptic and I'm sure your not, as for me though, I'm sure this isn't anxiety

""I also get headaches regularly, nose and eye pressure, light and sound sensitivity""
Hey Johnny. I get all these too. The other day I went deaf in one ear then it came back again and then in the other ear all in about 5 seconds. I hate loud noise and have to turn down the radio in the car All the time. Also there was a point about 4 years ago when I couldn't even stand in the sun with my eyes open , I would wait for the bus home from work with my eyes closed due to how bad It woukd be, So I'm with you on that one. . Back to the past few days I've had bad pressure headaches and with that I'm having pressure in my ears eyes and top of my nose. Feels kinda like sinus headache but I know it's more than likely pressure or stress. I too am worried it's more too gan aginxiety but then again I think most of us do convince ourselves that it its something more. I worry I will have a seziure due to the pressure or worse an anurisim. The fear is horrid. And fills me full of even more anxiety. I'm so unsure what to do at this point myself. I must say though the light sensitivity I had has definitely improved and I can be outside. But come late evening I can't deal with even the smallest bit of light. It's like the only relief I get is in a quiet, dark room with my eyes closed. Having a 3 year old. I don't get to do that too often though. I am 23, diagnosed with anxiety and depression for 9 years now. I just wish I could laugh !

Been to many docs and three neuros who think its anxiety. But then I read people's stories who have epilepsy and a lot of my symptoms mimic theirs.
Symtoms are Deja vu which leave me feeling anxious and get a rush through my body which actually makes me feel nausea.
Panic/Fear out of nowhere and my vision goes hazy and darker and I panic but only lasts a few seconds.
I also get sometimes like a massive head rush feeling as if electric going through my head

Me too ! -_- have you had any ct scans? I'm going to see an optision tomorrow, in the hope that of there's anything more sinister they will see it and refer me for more scans. Doctors here will hardly give me a scan. They just giggle at me
