Nobody seems to suffer with Deja Vu

So it feels like I am on my own with this one. A lot of people on here seem to describe their anxiety symptoms and most are similar but mine are so different. I get deja vu and sudden burst of intense panic and fear from nowhere which last seconds. Had all the tests but my phobia in life is Seizures.

I am scared what this might be

Deja vu is a known, though rare condition that some folks experience-on or off anti-depressive drugs. I had it before I went on anti-depressives, but it was rare then as well.

Some researchers theorize that when you are feeling that way your visual brain signals race to the memory part of your brain faster than your 'memory access' response-so it only seems as if you've been there before. Some folks brains are just hard wired to experience that, some aren't. I doubt it has anything to do with a previous life, but you never know.

Relax, you're in good company. I'm 63 and still alive and kicking so I doubt it's progressive or potentially fatal. Just consider that you might be in that small minority of people who's brains are wired a wee bit differently than most others. Enjoy it and marvel at the complexity of our brains.
