Hi all 💖

Do you have those ugly lumps on your fingers (or anywhere)? They look awful, come and go, sometimes painful and sometimes not x

Yes. As you said, they come and go.

    And they do go...

Least of my troubles, to be honest!

I dont have lumps but constant swelling acorss my knuckles that never goes away whats so ever..

I think the swelling is more closely connected to the RA inflammation and has a different cycle. More painful of course.

The nodules are little lumps. In my case, they were a bit unsightly but not painful.

      Gone now!

Ah I assume it's yet another sympton of RA then. It's 'the least of my troubles' too but just thought I'd ask wink

Yes I get them too, part of RA as you say I think they're fairly common all to do with the auto imune system, I get them on my fingers, knucles, and sometimes on my arms, good luck.

    Hi Rose

If you're speaking of the joints suddenly sticking oit/up, then yes, I am so glad you brought it up because it's happened to me in 3 different places on my hands and mine do NOT go away. My first Rheumy told me, "that's not the RA, that's osteoarthritis". But they come on literally right before my eyes. Sometimes it's painful, but usually it's not, it's just ugly and weird. My crazy show no joint damage on my hands so I'm not sure what to think. Thanks for bringing it up!! I thought I was the only one.

Hi. I have had a relapse this week despite taking methotrexate. As a result lumps have come on my thumb again. They tend to show up when the inflammation comes back. I'm at the hospital tomorrow so fingers crossed I get some more information...
