Hi Anna I am 16 weeks post RHR.

I can feel my new hip most of the time and still get some discomfort inner thigh. Scar numb in the middle. I think that's all normal.

Piece of advice I got off this site from other hippies is buy a fit bit. This measures and encourages me to walk farther and do even more every day.

I also think we forget to remember how bad we were and how well we fell now and how our lives are getting more and more normal.

    Keep going x

Like you can feel the 'hardware' inside your leg - yes ... and my new hip will be exactly 12 months old tomorrow eek.

I would talk to your Dr again. Please do remember that it does take a long time to heal up from this surgery. This being said there have been a lot of stuff that has been missed so the Doc should have some good explanations for you and error on the side of safety. They should pursue your complaints
