i had blood tests, all came back clear.
saw dr again and he said i need a nerve conduction test, but no idea how long this will take to get

I had similar problem, 2 years ago, I had a stiff and numb right hip, the numbness then travelled down to my tigh and cause stiff knee, few months later the numbness travel till the foot and toes. I had done MRI and CT scan, result clear. Later the numbness on hip and tight has gone but the tingling and numbness on the sole and toes of my right foot is there, I also feel a lump of flesh on my sole (like what some of you described, the effect of anesthetic on the mouth when extracting tooth) tried physiotherapy and chiropractor but could not solve the problem. Now my left toe also affected. I find that only when I wear high healto walk some distance, my thigh will start to numb again. Chiropractor said that I could have flat feet even though I could see the curve of my feet( long time standing and bare foot at home seems), she had also tried to pressed on different points of my buttock to see if there is sensation travel down my feet, but there wasn't. from 2104 Oct till today, I'm having this, really wish to find out the cause of it. High heel and flat feet could be contributing to this.
Anyone has numb thigh?

My symptoms Disabling pain front of right thigh. Electric shocks up and down my leg.
EMG done. A bit of nerve damage. MRI-spinal stenosis. Just had a bout of sciatica, couldn't walk for 1 week.
.Be proactive and call again and stress how nervous you are. It will be sorted out. if work permits it tell
the office to call you with the first cancellation. I wish you the very best.

So I've been having similar problems, I have virtually no real pain only sensory problems mostly down my left leg, I have tingling and muscle twitches from the knee downwards but the twitches I get are really isolated to the outside of the foot by the small toe, these symptoms appear when sitting but rarely when standing or lying down. I believe I have a problem with the nerves in my lower back getting pinched when I sit, probally around the L5/S1 region. I had a MRI last year which showed There is degeneration of the L5/S1 disc with a circumferential disc bulge.
There is bilateral facet joint degeneration at L4-5 and L5/S1 more pronounced on the left at the latter. There are bilateral pars defects (Spondylolysis) at the L5/S1 level with no
displacement/spondylolisthesis.
I'm due for a new MRI on the 3rd of December and a nerve conduction test when the appointment arrives, my neurologist ordered the test and sent me on my way with Pregablin tablets and told me to come back in 6 months, I'm going to speak to my doctor about getting this speeded up if possible and request a copy of the MRI results when they come back from the hospital. It's frustrating having the undiagnosed problem and not knowing what I can physically do to make it better if anything.

I have similar symptoms but not down to my feet. They seemed to disappear during the humid hot summer months but have reappeared this fall. Only thing I'm doing different is raking and blowing the Oak leaves that cover my yard. Using the blower is bothersome and then picking up the multitude of leaves is a bending up and down activity. I'm thinking this might be annoying an area that is acting up with the numbness at and below the knee on my left leg. I notice it mostly at night when I am still and trying to sleep! I practice Tai Chi twice a week and I believe it has helped my overall balance and circulation. Maybe I should do this three times a week. I haven't seen a professional about this as you can tell most of the people who have this complaint are not really helped by professionals beyond taking test. My father had issues with nerves along his back getting pinched as he shrunk with age...I'm thinking this is something similar to what is happening with many of us. how to keep the nerves happy as the spine compresses. so exercise might just be the best option to keep this under control. Good Luck!

i know this sounds totally ridiculous but ive had numbness and tingling in my legs and feet for absolutely years and it felt like tree trunks - absolutely dreadful feeling and i was scared that eventually i wasnt going to be able to walk. however i thought i had a urine infection and the dr gave me an antibiotic called Nitrofurantoin which i took for 7 days.
guess what, my numbness seems to have totally subsided and i feel loads better, i know this seems very far fetched or just a fluke and dont know whether it is relevant, but its sorted me.
