numbness and tingling in left leg and foot

hi

i have had numbness in my left leg below knee for a bout 4 weeks and in my foot for about 2 weeks, its the left side of my left leg and on foot is more of right part of left foot.

i had blood tests, all came back clear.

saw dr again and he said i need a nerve conduction test, but no idea how long this will take to get

the appt.

this is worrying and annoying as is affecting me at work now as my leg also aches a lot now.

any one have any ideas or have had the same symptoms? thanks

    I have numbness on the right side of my face that started with my lips and gradually took over my entire right side of my head,

    my left leg from my toes to my waist is also numb ,with tingly sometimes uncomfortable sensations.

    Its been only 3 days but I had gone to the ER Today and got 2 different ct scans and blood work etc .all came out clear. my doctor told me if numbness continues or gets worse, have head aches, or my vision starts to bother me i need to go back in for an MRI and further testing.

    This has also affected my work and every day life. i do understand you're frustration. You'r not alone in this ..I wish I had answers for you but I'm also left in the dark ...

      Hi Hun

      It's now 3 years later and it's gotten lots worse. I have to stop a lot when walking due to burning , tight horrid pain in leg below knee, same going upstairs.

      Had another MRI last week , results came back as no significant change from last time, 3 years ago 🤔

      Feeling really frustrated ATM

    Hi, I just wanted to say that I too have numbness r side of face,numbness,

    pain and tingling in hands,feet and lower legs.I finally had nerve conduction

    tests done by neurologist that says peripheral neuropathy,,,,nerve damage.

    These are not my only problems but somehow the most problematic.

    Hey I have had a numb leg and foot and swellimg for nearly 6 weeks now. I have had bloods and a mri done waiting on.results. I haven't had any pain so.i don't think it's my sciatica like they 1st thought.

    Im waiting for a neurologist appointment aswell

      Hi

      I rang after 7 days for MRI results, they didn't ring me.

      I haven't had bloods done,

      I'm going back to GP tomorrow as this is interfering in my life.

      Hope you get some answers soon Hun.

      So frustrating isn't it 😟

      I'm going to call today for mri. It really is. Where are you from? I am hoping it is just something that can be sorted. As they have mentioned nerve damage. X

      I had a nerve conduction test 3 years ago, said it was fine. ??

      No results as yet. Got to call back next week.

      Really. What have they put yours down to?

      Did it hurt? People have said that it's painful

      I went back to gp got tablets to try for 2 weeks then go back

      The nerve test never hurt me, was more like... when someone touches you n u get a little shock

    Knees down are going numb again. Years ago the doc gave me a shot in the knee and it worked fine for years. What was it? I forgot. Haha

    I have been experiencing pain in my right shin, a dull ache, and also deep in my right buttock. Also have pins and needles across top of right foot and under big toe with numbness. The pain wakes me at night numerous times plus once I get out of bed and start walking or stand longer than a few minutes. MRI indicates severe L5/S1 intervertebral disc joint disease, broad based disc bulge. Physiology, pills, cortisone shots in spine don't work......😟

    Hi

    When you say you've had 'physiology' do you mean some physiotherapy?  I would strongly advise an osteopath.  Very similar symptoms myself in the past, completely cured through deep tissue massage and some specific exercises I was given.

      Yes physiotherapy, remedial massage and aqua therapy. Acupuncture worked until they took the needle out

      Hi james, did you go to a massage therapist or physical therapist or did the neurologist do the deep tissue massage?
