So girls,,, now going to the specialist for blood in my urine,,,Am terrified and have to get a cystoscopy to rule out bladder cancer,,,, they have always thought it was blood that was just staying up there from meno,, because your body gets to week to push it all out like spotting inside and a thought this also, so I got a new gyno and it happened again it always seems around my period time also... She is the one referring me, I also am beening checked for painful bladder syndrome, have any of you ever had any experiences with this bladder nightmare??? would love your feedback!

I recently had blood in my urine. I was told it may be because of lack of oestrogen. I am taking flaxovate. It has helped with the pain but if another test reveals blood I also have to have a cystoscopy. Apparently it's standard practice.

Im just curious where the blood is coming from I guess your menstrual flow mixes with your urine but the confusing part is I was not totally on my period but close to it and because our periods are not strong enough anymore it stays up there much longer Im guessing but they don't explain that they just keep you in the dark... which kinda annoys me,, they just keep us wondering none of the girls really said they explained anything even after they got a good bill of health after the testing, they just add to the worrying.... but my natural path told me it was common also he a least was informative... Do you also still have your cycle???

Beverly, I would bet $5000 you do not have bladder cancer. I think what you’re going through is very common. Did you also have children because I know that letter is tricky later in life when women of had children. My mother and two of my grandmothers had A shoes because they had children. and she didn’t know kids are not just a pain in our but they’re a pain in our bladder… LOL a little menopause humor there. My bladder drove me crazy but only in the sense that I thought I was gonna have to be tested for diabetes cause I was urinating 50 times a day. I do remember having some pain but honestly I’m postmenopausal now two years and a lot of it’s a blur. please try not to worry, I know this is no fun 😉
