I have asked my surgeons receptionist to book me in again to speak with the surgeon prior to going under the knife as I really would like to tell him about my current symptoms and also he may want to arrange some xrays or hopefully arrange an MRI, as all I have had is an ultrasound in April last year and a CT scan which was particularly looking for any abnormalities of the pancreas, that CT scan came back negative thankfully, but unsure whether it will have shown any relation to stones anywhere in ducts etc?

My current symptoms are mostly ache at the right shoulder blade region back area, I often have a pain that drifts over to the left back area and down the arm.

I find lying flat or on either side will ease any symptom, I would have thought that telling them all this would help find out the actual cause, but I presume they want to remove the GB to eliminate that from the list of potential causes of pain.
