Dear Gail, Sending all good thoughts your way, and hope that the healing process will go as planned. I had some issues but they are finally on the mend and I am feeling much better. Had THR end of July, set back with an infection in my knee. But know my tests are showing good results after meds.
Don't mean to to on and one but I truly wish you the very best and take care of yourself, don't let the hospital send you home too soon, make sure you are ready,

Gail, all will be great. The one tidbit of advice I'll give is don't get discouraged if you seem to do GREAT the very first days and then seemingly take a few steps back. There's evidently no textbook rehabbing of these ol hips and like Forrest Gump almost said, "THR rehab is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna feel like from day to day". 😛😛😛. I am 12 days post op,and doing incredibly well.
The time passes so quickly and before you know it you are up and about and feeling great.
You will be fine and I look forward to reading your posts after your op.
