So i started taking orlistat as a last result to kick start me into loosing alot of extra weight. So far i have lost 14lb im pleased with that as without them i would be no where near that loss. Also was ill over xmas/new year so didnt take them for 3 weeks, i was sure i had gain back some of my initial 9 lb loss so was suprised when i stepped on the scales. Is everyone following low cal diet along side the tablets? anyone else finding snacks hard?? ive been having ryvitas with a little bit of fat free cattage cheese and a slice of ham, greek style fat free yogurt, and the obvious fruit and veg anyone else got any ideas, starting to feel like im eating the same thing day in day out!! would love to hear how others are getting on

Hey Britney, Day 4 for me and I must admit even though the scales dont read any different just yet I am feeling slimmer, not so bloated. I have been eating nothing but salads, chicken and sometimes not even feeling hungry when it comes to the evening meal so I have been having a protien shake instead. Headaches have been so bad, I am drinking so much water and I am hoping this will calm down in time.

So what was your total weight loss if you dont mind me asking again, and this was in under a year. I think with these tablets its not really a fad diet its more of a lifestyle change and helps you to make better choices when picking out foods. I have taken lots of different kinds of slimming pills in the past and have crashed and burned i.e lost loads and then when I have started eating again I have put it back on. So I am hoping this time its a change for life.

Do people mind if I ask where they are from, not that it matters but its always nice to know. I am from London nr Greenwich. Are there people from all over the world on here?

    Minky x

@minky01606 Hi how are you getting on? hope your headaches have eased i remember having them too. Yep i remember feeling a lot less bloated after a couple of days also drinking plenty of water helps with extra bloat too. In answer to your question i started off at 19.5 stone size 24 and am now under 13 stone and a 12/14

I am very near you through the other side of the foot tunnel!(Wharf) but also live in E.Anglia.

Totally agree with you it is a lifestyle change i will never go back to how i was. I put on all my weight in the last 5ish years before that i was 10/12 my goal is 9.5/10 stone

    .

@Yaa-Yaa Good Luck and exercise wise i work and am in and out of the office and do long walks i have just bought a hula hoop as they are meant to be good.

@biancarose Keep with it it will come off

Hey Britney, Oh the headaches have got a lot better if im honest a nice strong painkiller does the trick! Oh my god you are amazing thats really good. Im currently 15 4 I think but I dont want to weight myself yet incase I get put off.

I had a little cheat day the other day and had a couple of cheeky croissants and boy O boy I wont be doing that again.

I do feel pretty good at the moment and I realise this isnt a quick fix but I love the fact I am changing my attitude towards cooking and eating for a long term happiness. Wow that sounded so corny!

minky01606 Glad the Headaches have eased. I don't own a set of scales i would be obsessed with weighing myself everyday! so i just get it done at the Doctors. Lol it's enough to put me off hope you feel better from the side effects. No that's not corny at all it's the right attitude! When you get weighed the first time it gives you the buzz to keep going smile x

    biancarose Well Done smile x

I am so inspired by your results. I have started taking Orlistat last week. I lost 7lbs on week 1. As of yet I have had no side effects, though I am being very strict. Allowing 1200 calories for 5 days then can only have 600 calories for day 6&7. My fat intake is under 5gram peer 100g . Quite excited about reading other peoples results. Totally determined, My cloth sizing is similar to yourself Britney before you lost your weight. So knowing I could drop so many dress sizes in next 6 months is fabulous. Well done 🍓🍏
