So i started taking orlistat as a last result to kick start me into loosing alot of extra weight. So far i have lost 14lb im pleased with that as without them i would be no where near that loss. Also was ill over xmas/new year so didnt take them for 3 weeks, i was sure i had gain back some of my initial 9 lb loss so was suprised when i stepped on the scales. Is everyone following low cal diet along side the tablets? anyone else finding snacks hard?? ive been having ryvitas with a little bit of fat free cattage cheese and a slice of ham, greek style fat free yogurt, and the obvious fruit and veg anyone else got any ideas, starting to feel like im eating the same thing day in day out!! would love to hear how others are getting on

So what was your total weight loss if you dont mind me asking again, and this was in under a year. I think with these tablets its not really a fad diet its more of a lifestyle change and helps you to make better choices when picking out foods. I have taken lots of different kinds of slimming pills in the past and have crashed and burned i.e lost loads and then when I have started eating again I have put it back on. So I am hoping this time its a change for life.
Do people mind if I ask where they are from, not that it matters but its always nice to know. I am from London nr Greenwich. Are there people from all over the world on here?

I am very near you through the other side of the foot tunnel!(Wharf) but also live in E.Anglia.
Totally agree with you it is a lifestyle change i will never go back to how i was. I put on all my weight in the last 5ish years before that i was 10/12 my goal is 9.5/10 stone
.
@Yaa-Yaa Good Luck and exercise wise i work and am in and out of the office and do long walks i have just bought a hula hoop as they are meant to be good.

I had a little cheat day the other day and had a couple of cheeky croissants and boy O boy I wont be doing that again.
I do feel pretty good at the moment and I realise this isnt a quick fix but I love the fact I am changing my attitude towards cooking and eating for a long term happiness. Wow that sounded so corny!
