So i started taking orlistat as a last result to kick start me into loosing alot of extra weight. So far i have lost 14lb im pleased with that as without them i would be no where near that loss. Also was ill over xmas/new year so didnt take them for 3 weeks, i was sure i had gain back some of my initial 9 lb loss so was suprised when i stepped on the scales. Is everyone following low cal diet along side the tablets? anyone else finding snacks hard?? ive been having ryvitas with a little bit of fat free cattage cheese and a slice of ham, greek style fat free yogurt, and the obvious fruit and veg anyone else got any ideas, starting to feel like im eating the same thing day in day out!! would love to hear how others are getting on

Thanks for all you advice and tips Britney added them to my list of things I've been collecting. Been taken the tablets one week today have experienced the orange oil once but getting better at reading the labels. For so confused last Wednesday was getting confused in the supermarket I asked a worker for help and said these meals carnt be low fat they've got to much fat she said you reading protein haha! Woops sure I was reading fat... Can never be to careful haha! So got weighed today, have seen a lot of people have said it takes one week to get into your system but 1st week and have lot 2lbs. Will keep you all updated!xx

YOU WAS RIGHT.
Saturday family came over and we got a chinese. Yes I had a plate full.oh my god I had every side effecr going. I will not do that again. Thank goodness I was at home lol.
Hope you are all doing well x

@smiler45 oh no i hope your feeling much better after the side effects. Just keep to the low fat stuff and you will be fine. Asda sell a Chinese curry sauce which is low in fat and is quite nice Sainsburys do one too you could always have that if everyone else is having a takeaway that way you are eating the 'same thing' without feeling left out and having the side effects. x
