Our Stalker Is Back

We thought the two stalkers who kept coming into our flat uninvited had got the message,,,,,,,,one was arrested for threatening behaviour towards me and also for assaulting a police officer (never a good idea) and the other, who was the more persistent one, got a police warning not to come anywhere near us.

So today we were just sitting about, chatting, drinking tea, listening to the radio, and suddenly Terry appears.

I said, "Terry, go away - you know you're not allowed to be here."

Terry said he could come here any time he liked. He was very drunk, and took Jim outside into the alleyway and said, "YOU ARE MY ENEMY"..............then walked away.

Jim came in and immediately opened a can of beer.

I lit a cigarette - so much for having given them up. Then I rang the police officer who is dealing with this to tell him what had happened.

Jim announced that he was going for a walk, which really means "I am going to buy a bottle of whisky."

That was seven hours ago. He still hasn't come home and has left his mobile here.

I am now on gabapentin, which has calmed me enormously, but I am so angry that one person could cause so much chaos and misery in the space of forty seconds.

Sorry - just needed to vent it all.

      Thanks, Gwen.

We do feel safer now with the door double bolted, and knowing the police will intervene quickly if the two idiots come back.

Only on 6mg diazepam now, so almost finished my taper for good.

      Hope you're ok!         love Tessxxxxxx

Yes, me ok - you are doing great on the diaz - I have a pack which is still intact as have not had any yet.  My doc gave them to me for coming off the alcohol but I am ok with nothing and my one glass each night.  I also was given a pack about 5 years ago for panic attacks, again not taken any, as because I know I have them, I have not needed one.

I must say though tess, you have been really strong - it is so obvious how much you love your hubs - you just will never in a million years give up on him - I love that.  I would be exactly the same, no way would I desert my old man.

You remain bright and empowering to the peeps on here - and yet you don't have the alcohol problem - flippin good work bud.

I love this site and it has truly helped me more than meds could - you are an inspiration (as are many of you guys) - I wish you health and happiness (enjoy your jollies with memories) and you and hubs remain such a lovely couple and well worth knowing. smile xxxxxxxxxx Gwen x
