ovarian cyst,adhesions and endometriosis

Hi,Im a 39 yr old mum of 3 and i have had terrible abdominal pain since 2004,all the different GP'S i have seen have said i had IBS.Any tablets they gave me were useless. Then in feb i went back once again but this time was offered swabs and a ultrasound.GP was very rude and did not

want to refer me as she was sure i was waisting time and money. My ultrasound showed a 10cm cyst on my right ovary, the radiographer insisted that i didn't go back to the same gp again.I then saw my gyno and she said that my symptoms were also signs of adhesions and ednomitriosis, that i'd have to have a endoscopy in 3wks to see whats going on.She doesn't seem keen on doing anything about the adhesions but if im in pain i think they should.

Can you give me any advice please.I also want my ovaries removed their all i have left after a hysterectomy in 2001. THANKS.

Must be walking up the hill home, not to bad today managed to go to the loo thank god fine until i shove in food again feel like Florence on the b****y magic roundabout have to eat to live but causes pain, so take painkillers and they bung you up only ever hurts on right hand side with me with me where they found the lesions whatever they are. Glad your enjoying your cupcakes sure the icing was still good to eat even if it did turn out wrong.

I must have something on the left as well but it doesn't hurt as often as the right side that never goes away.Im the same empty out hungry pain tablets bunged up.I keep getting the shakes and sweats it was bad today, side effects of tramadol i guess can't do with out them though.I could see snow on the tops of snowdonia mountains today looked beautiful, now its blowing a gale.Where in for a rough night i think.

Exactly the same with me although nothing on the left, I love Snowdonia it's beautiful and it's pouring down over here and blowing a gale, wouldn't want your OH's job at the moment gan be bloody rough on that Irish sea sure he will be fine home on Tuesday, perhaps he's stuck in Dublin for the night drinking the old black stuff.

Good morning how are you today, meant to say I start to shake if i don't take the painkillers anymore must be the bloody codiene in them they say it's addictive contains Morphine have decided Doctors would sooner have a load of spaced out junkie's that way we don't question them. How's the OH just heard on the news here they have cancelled 2 night's ferry crossing due to bad weather b****y awful weather here last night, if you do decide to come to Belfast at anytime they run a really good train service it's called the Enterprise from Dublin to Belfast and it's cheap.

Hi,What a night we had a terroble storm the bins and recycling were all over the place. My OH's fine he doesn't even get sea sick in weather like that just has a good laugh when i do.It's funny what you said about the dizzyness and missing a tablet it has happened twice now when i've taken movicol not and not a tablet,im losing weight which is a plus i guess but i was shaking all day yesterday.back to the doc's maybe.Your going on friday aren't you i hope you get some sense,i have a feeling you have adhesions aswell. Thanks for the tip on the train service i'll drop hints for next summer but he isn't keen on Belfast god knows why,he was there with work for a month a few years ago and didn't enjoy it.He said the shops are brilliant there and the people are really friendly like you.

Yes going to see him on Friday am going to ask him if it could be adhesions or endo as 1 of the stupid Doctors at the hospital asked what i thought was wrong as the Consultant had run out of ideas \"duh\" if they are i think it could be down to the car accident i had but there going to have to do something about them can't live this way. I only weigh 7 stone normally down to 6 stone 3 and they don't seem bothered but i am. Weather started getting bad over here again raining and high winds.

They should be at least concerned abpout your weight even if your normally 7 stone,i'm 11 stone but i was 12stone 8 so i have lost i bit but i needed to,i find i difficult to shift the pounds and im only 5ft 1 so i look heavyer than i am.I'd love to be 7 stone - dream on.They've said it's going to be bad here tonight aswell, luckly i don't have to go out my daughter came home from school ill,it looks like she my be at the start of periods oh poor girl.

I seem to be the only 1 worried about that because i eat and all blood tests are fine they say \"oh well\" never mind but the last time they found inflammation in the bowel on the X Ray can't seem to decide if it's Crohn's or what won't find out until i get a colonoscopy or a lapro, still no word on the first one. Hope your daughter feels better soon all i can suggest is a hot bath and mild pain killers at her age. hope she never has to go through what we are going through wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

The bloody idiots should have sent you for the colonoscopy while you where in last time you could have an infection or bacteria growing there, one of my auntie was losing weight and everything she ate went right through her they gave her the camera and afterwards they showed her a photo of this bacteria that was living in her bowel it looked like an alien this was years ago and shes fine now.I've finally lost the plot can't remember my password on computer so can't access my profile i'm using my daughters i'm getting worse it's remembering pills, laxatives kids things and running the house on my own while OH's away.Im' glad i don't work sometimes it would be impossible with the way i am can't lift or anything.

That's what i thought they would have done but so bloody short staffed between sick and holidays sent me home again been in and out 3 times since June, a total of 25 days spent in there with nothing to show for it thinking of asking for a season ticket, doesn.t go right through just doesn't come out so then i get so bunged up can't eat for a few days so lose the weight again going round in circles. I'm forgetful as wll i put it down to menopause or senility setting in. Weather bloody awful again just had to nip down to tesco blowing a gale over here, hope your daughter feels better and your Auntie is feeling a bit better. Talk tomorrow.

Good morning how are you today? hope your daughter is feeling better, good day today your hubby is home nice quiet night in by the TV would say a bottle of wine but with all the drugs won't mix. Weather still dreadful here supposed to get really cold tonight, couldn't sleep at all last night wind, rain and sweats the joys of getting old, solid fuel central heating here still so if the fires on the radiators are so doesn't help with the sweating.

Hi i didn't sleep well either i went to bed freezing cold even had bed socks on only to start sweating and peeling everything off, im a onion i have terrible back pain today.Yes my hubby home today lots of washing to be done and a cosy night in front of the tv and no doubt he will have a drink, he deserves it he works hard.My daughter's much better thanks back to school she doesn't want to miss science her fav lesson.

I think the back pain is a symptom of Endo and Adhesions and also sweating. Washing can always wait a while after all won't get up and leave and i take it he gets a few days off now. Glad your daughter is feeling better and back at school my oldest grandson loves Science as well.
