ovarian cyst,adhesions and endometriosis

Hi,Im a 39 yr old mum of 3 and i have had terrible abdominal pain since 2004,all the different GP'S i have seen have said i had IBS.Any tablets they gave me were useless.Then in feb i went back once again but this time was offered swabs and a ultrasound.GP was very rude and did not

want to refer me as she was sure i was waisting time and money. My ultrasound showed a 10cm cyst on my right ovary,the radiographer insisted that i didn't go back to the same gp again.I then saw my gyno and she said that my symptoms were also signs of adhesions and ednomitriosis,that i'd have to have a endoscopy in 3wks to see whats going on.She doesn't seem keen on doing anything about the adhesions but if im in pain i think they should.

Can you give me any advice please.I also want my ovaries removed their all i have left after a hysterectomy in 2001. THANKS.

    If it doesn't get any better taking myself back to A and E consultant sais to but don't really want to as they do nothing hoping it will settle down over night, it's good he got the car back at least. God your neighbours sound terrible i am surrounded by old couples here always say more life in a cemetry still at least no bother and it's quiet.

    Hello,how are you today?.You are lucky i'd prefer older people living around us but there you go.They are a horrible family we are going to try and move in the new year but why should we,we never burgled them.I get dizzy if i don't take my pills at the same time shows my bodies addicted already.

    Mine is up for sale at the mo no offers though want somewhere smaller, still feeling c**p try to stay away from mine as much as possible as they constipate so badly which makes the pain worse, really sick of feeling sick now and ready to throw in the towel and start kicking up stink at that b****y hospital even OH is fed up with my moaning can't blame him been going on 7 months now.

    Hi,i know i've been like this for lust over a year and it's no bloody joke.My OHjust doesn't like seeing me in pain and he doesn't complain about me maoning on,i'm lucky i guess.After seeing people on my aunties ward i just think there are people who are far worse off than me and i'm so greatful i'm not in there shoes.It's grim they are all just lying there waiting to go,heartbreaking.

    Know what you mean felt so sorry for some of the people in hospital while i was there and they were not really offered any help or advice at all not even there relatives made me so bloody mad. As i said i think compassion went out with the government cuts, to much red tape shortage of staff and a sense of no job satisfaction among the staff at ground level anymore can't really blame them and the abuse of some people against the staff both physically and verbally was untrue i wouldn't want their job. 1 of my grandson's teacher's said she gave up nursing couldn't take it anymore she re-trained. They just don't have the time to spend with the patients any longer. How is your Auntie and your OH?.

    Hi,i have has a rough few days but i bit better today,sorry to worry you.I have had enough of pills and pain but there's no point going back to the doc's their useless and i just don't have the will to go there.

    sorry to hear that glad your a bit better today know how you feel with the pills and pain and the Doc's are b****y c**p, still no appointment for colonoscopy i give in now not worth complaining as they don't listen or think i'm a hypochondriac.

    hello,I totally agree with you i must be a hypocndriac as well then.On top of everything my water works are in over drive and i only got 2hrs sleep last night my OH snores terribly he's seeing the doc next week it's so bad.It drives me crackers.

    I could pee for Britian have decided to cut out the middle man and throw all tea straight down the loo from now on in fact my daughter sent away for a free sample of Tena lady pads off the internet for a joke could have happily slapped her. My OH snores as well but so knocked out with painkillers and diazepam don't hear him thank god only doe's it if he's lying on his back then have to dunk him in the ribs if he doe's wake me.

    Don't joke i am a tena lady user i have no choice for some reason it doesn't empty out properly.You have bitterly cold weather and it's not much warmer here.

    No snow but bitterly cold not feeling the best today, must be the endo and fibroids pressing on your bowels causing that it can apparently. How are you today?.

    Hi im worn out told my OH to get his finger out and help me,him sitting on the couch reading- charming.The gyno said there are adhesions around my bladder so i wondered after why didn't they get rid of them then to tricky i guess.We don't have snow either sadly we never get any it doesn't stick.I hope your ok today.

    Hi hope your ok,i guess you gone back in again i hope you get sorted if that's the case.I am seeing the gyno on wednesday,i'm half pleased and ther other half dreading it.I'm never happy.Take care.

    I'm seeing the gyno today and i'm dreading it,will i get any sense.I'm so scared they will say i will have to live with the pain.Fingers crossed.
