Yes. This is how I felt all day--like I had the flu. I was achy and felt lethargic. It was terrible! Then this thought hit me that it was anxiety. I googled symptoms of anxiety and whamo, this list popped up. I couldn't believe how much of this stuff I could actually identify with. At least now I can rest a little easier knowing that these symptoms stem from anxiety. Not that they don't feel real, Lord knows they are very real but it is a relief to know I'm not bonkers or dying of some dreadful disease.

Hello Marlene I’ve been on this forum since 2012 when I started in peri. I’m now post meno by 3yrs and like you I’m doing it naturally but it’s really hard.  I’m reading more and more about anxiety and I have now come to the conclusion that many of my symptoms may be due to anxiety as I’ve been through so many tests and no doctor comes up with anything. I did start to have a better year last year and thought I was at last coming to and end but from feb of this year I appear to have gone down hill, I start off with daily sinus type headaches with dizziness and an upset stomach then I get scared of being ill which I think must bring on anxiety, I feel like I could fall forward all the time, I’m clumsy, worry if I’ll get through work, jaunt generally feel so I’ll. I actually when to a go last week as felt so I’ll and sad, he has sent me for a chest scan and blood test and told me not to eat wheat for two weeks then I’ll have another blood test, really don’t know why the chest scan and I don’t think wheat has anything to do with how I feel. Do you ever feel you just can’t cope even when I’m washing up in the evening after making a meal I feel I can’t do this. I’m so tied of not being myself anymore and don’t really know who I am any longer cryfrown . I relate to your post and others and reading that list of anxiety symptoms I have at least 12 of them. Do you work Marlene and how do you get through the bad days. Sending you all a comforting hug xx and thank you

It could be the anaemia, that's making you feel worse at the momment.Maybe get your iron up and see if that helps calm the anxiety and shaking down.Mirtizapine didn't suit me,it made my memory really bad.and I did start to get shaky and more anxious when I was coming off it,but I am very sensitive to meds.
