Pain after colon resection

Hi there could anyone who has had a colon resection let me know what the pain was like please. Thanks so much.

    My surgery was robotic and yes, this is my 5th week post op and I am very careful eating food that is gentle on my colon. Lots of soups.  This week I tried fresh fruit, watermelon and strawberries. I peeled the skin off the strawberries due to been afraid of the seeds.

    I  Had a bowel resection in May. I found the pain very manageable. They give you good pain relief, and I also had to have an Iliostomy bag to deal with. I have now had that reversed. My main pain was in my back actually. And it is again after the reversal. Probably because they have to cut muscle etc. it's worth the op to get rid of the misery of diverticulitis in my opinion.

    Sharing my pain about this disease with all of you on this forum, your great advice and feedback has kept me alive pre op and after operation. I want to thank you, big thank you.
