pain getting on and off toilet

Hi all hippies

I am 9 days post op.

Over the last 2 days I have had groin pain getting on and off the toilet.

No pain when I walk.

Have changed my pain meds from paracetamol to something stronger to help with this.

I never had this with my other hip but understand that this one was more difficult alot more dislocating and breaking.

Has any one else had this problem.

I dread going to the toilet at the moment.

Thanks Hippies.

Jane

Hi Jane, when I was in hosp and came roung from surgery I needed a bed pan, nurses brought a "slipper pan", so much easier and having a "monkey pole" ment I could lift. Having done a massive weeee, I was handed tissues with cream on it to wipe.

I was also given the rest of the tube to bring home, its tenna wash cream, just under £5 for 250ml and wonderful stuff. I have sent it to friends (not my tube, wouldnt be with-out it) who are suffering from terminal Ca and they all agree, you can get it off that site in the Amazon ;-) Try it xx
