Pain in left testicle and leg

The varicocele is no laughing matter. See if you can get that delt with for sure. I have a varicocele on both sides. Small they are and painfull. I have some associated leg pain also. I go for urologist consult in two weeks after a very very long road of bad scrotal pain.Unfortunatley there is something out there called "nutcracker syndrome".

I have done very extensive investigation as to why my scrotum hurts so bad. Look it up for better explanation but in short.. Left renal vein is compressed and causes undo pressure to the veins in your scrotum and can be cause of varicocele and maybe your leg and slight dizziness also. I had a ct angiogram to see if this was happening to me but was not I guess. Just a thought. Those varicoceles are a sneaky pain causer. Scoped 4 times, they blamed prostidynia for 10 yrs, (I'm in agony all that time trying all the drugs) then poof a attentive ultrasound Doc picks it, go again and on both sides.

Hi pcambo86 I saw your comment in regards to your possible loss of a testicle. I went through this. However I am 48 and have two children already so for me it's not that big of a deal especially with all that damn pain I suffered through. I had three surgeries after exceeding all medical knowledge of the testicles. As I was told. Surgery 1, Hematoma mass removal(size of a third testicle) Surgery 2, left inguinal orchiectomy removal of my left testicle. I was told not to worry that I would still be able to produce enough sperm to father more children. O lul problem was my remaining testicle hurt worse than ever and narcotics and steroids were of zero help. Believe me I was begging for them to remove that last one. 3 months more suffering and then I met Dr. Hsieh a sexual organ specialist of Urology who agreed to remove my remaing testicle. Thank Gid I have zero pains. I got my life back. My sex life is better than it was when I had both. Don't get me wrong as I would not wish this on the devil himself. It's just how it turned out. So I wouldn't put too much stress on the loss of one if medically necessary. I underwent every test you can name and then some twice. My surgeon has offered to give advice to men on this forum just keep in mind he's here in the US. I can give his number to those who may request it. Hi I'm in the uk. About 2010 my testicals was that cold and shirvled up, I used to have to sit on a hot water bottle, or push them against a radiator!

I have read through all the comments and I have similar pains to what's been mentioned. Left testicle pain, left lower back pain, left leg pain, left hip pain. The biggest difference is that my pain causes me to want sex more, also the pains feels better after ejaculating. I am 32 now and I was told I had varisicle veins when I was 18 but ignored it. I have 2 children without trying though, and was told that could be a issue. But also a difference is I hurt my back at 20 working at UPS, and had a herniated disk. But I am not sure exactly what is causing my pain. I have gotten treatment for the back and it is manageable at times, but I feel a tweak always and weakness. Lower left leg is always very weak and especially the side IT band has a ton of tightness. It's hardest to get the doctors to understand what I'm feeling and to know the route causes and fix them. It's also extremely embarrassing to get ultrasounds. I did one a year or so back and it was very uncomfortable, and I didn't think vericile veins were the problem so I didn't mention them, and they didn't come back with anything. It's all a very difficult situation because I am also a religious man and I put my wife in the position to always need to satisfy me, and when it doesn't happen I get upset. What is the best and simplest answers? 

I know your pain so well, I've been going through it since I was 18. I was born with a double hernia and had to be operated on immediately. All was well until my late teens where I started experiencing testicular pain that would start to radiate down my legs and cause me major problems, sometimes curled up in a ball till painkillers kicked in. Anyway, I dealt with it for years that way until a girlfriend pushed me to keep going to doctor until they did something coz up till then, All they did was got me to get the balls out, let them poke and prod and continue to tell me there was no problems. Clearly, there was a problem. Nobody listened. Eventually though, I got a doc that did. He sent me to a specialist who examined me and straight away diagnosed me with a varicocile. I was operated on after a few months with some kind of coil being implanted. The pain went away, for six years. Now though, it is back, with a vengeance! Pain goes right to my toes these days and I've missed so many days if work because I don't have the proper painkillers at hand. Codeine usually works best. Although, I have to say this. And this is not a weirdo thing or that so please don't delete this comment moderator. This helps me and I've only recently noticed that it does but ejaculation does relieve the pain to non existent for days. Dies anyone else have the same results from this? I'm beginning to wonder if it's blood flow or other things that are blocked and if anyone else can relate, this info could be very useful in the research and diagnosis of these symptoms we all seem to be suffering from. Personally, I can't cope with it some days. Hope anybody else has input on this

so does any know if he had to get his testicale removed? im 17 and going through basically the same thing everyone is talking about and its  really scaring me 

This is my experience with testicle/prostate pain/swelling over the last 4 years. I had a vas reversal in 2 ½ yrs ago. Sometimes my prostate swells but currently seems under control. Other than an occasional twinge I am now ok. Pain not due to STI. I am now in my mid 40's. This is how I manage:

1 x 10mg amitriptyline tablet each day (prescibed)

1 x 2.5mg alfuzosin tablet twice a day (prescibed)

1 x 1600mg saw palmetto & amino acids tablet (Lindens) each day (available online)

foot massage most days

managing constipation/straining (direct link with pain in my experience)- have a fibre-based diet/lots of water

Pain flare-up control is as follows:

only antibiotics bring ultimate relief

tramadol (prescibed)- or something similar (ordinary painkillers don't work)

bed rest

scrotum elevation
