Pain Levels of Fibromyalgia

Hi All

When I was diagonosed with Fibromyalgia it was rated at 4/16. My pain is severe to the point that when anyone places their hand on my back it is so painful. I have pains in my hands fingers when I hold anything.

My level has been rated as Mild Fibromyalgia !

Not sure how pain is measured on a scale ?

Anyone shed any light on this ?confused

    I wonder if it's how many of the pressure points you reacted badly on?x

    There is the pressure point scoringto diagnose FMS if you have more than 4/11 the diagnosis is positive.

    It is strange as I damaged the bottom of my spine when I was 16 years old and had the extreme sensitive skin even the touch of a tissue was like a stiletto heal being pressed in to my back although I could lie flat only back.Although

    After about seven years I shook it off for there years then crashed a push bike and damaged both knees, following this I had nerves frozen in my lower back to kill the pain in my knees. When i had the second one done it knocked me out and i didn't wake fo about five day. This took about seven months to get over.

    And then this happens a simple fall damaging my neck and 20 months on i am in agony and struggling with Day to day tasks.

    I hope you find something that works for you and that goes for everyone on hee.
