sore boobs are meno. signs and ive got that at present for past2 weeks so i know how you feel.

what HRT are you taking as they do vary and its probably just not kicked in quite yet give it time.  i know its frustrating and yes the mood swings also meno.  too im afraid and i am baffled as to how on earth these hormones can cause us such misery.

best advice is try go with the flow doing what you can and time it will even out.    Read lots of info on web like menopause matters , Ladies on here and support is great.    debi x

      Thanks Debbie.

im on patches (HRT) on Femm seven. On the lowest dose,as I'm already fitted with the Mirena coil,??

my mood swings are terrible though feel soooooo low for 2 1/2 weeks then other symptoms kick in seem as though I only get a few days of feeling normal!!!!!.

hoping that hrt will kick in? Do I give 3 months?.

The shooting pains may be your breast tissue stretching if you aren't wearing a bra very often xx

I get more pain and discomfort when I DO wear a bra. I always wear one 'in public' (at 38C I need tolol) but have stopped wearing them at home. I have found exercising while not wearing a bra has improved the supporting muscles and my boobs are no longer 'heading South'.

Hi Shelly, what helps relieve breast pain, and arm pain associated with the breasts area is arnica. You can find it at any pharmacy or health food store.

I can't find amica anywhere. Could it be called something else?

    • Posted

maybe you spelled it wrong in your search, it is Arnica, not Amica?

one time i confused cinnamon with cayanne powder.  I slathered that hot stuff all over my toast, took me three bites before I realised that I had done smile  Yes, I was not wearing my glasses.

Arnica cream is readily available in most chemists/pharmacies. It is a very old treatment for bruises. But wash your hands after use as it can be toxic if ingested.

Another name for it is Leopard's Bane, the giveaway is 'Bane'. Wolf's bane (Monkshood) and Henbane are both deadly plants.

I would totally kill myself. As scatter brain as I am right now. Put my keys in the pantry, go to a room and forget what for. I would forget it was poisonous or put it on my toothbrush or something.🙄

I had no idea it was toxic, thank you for that piece of advice.

I bet YOU have never gone to open the fridge door with a hammer in your hand, fridge - hammer - hammer - fridge - er?lol

As for the arnica, try it. There are plenty of things that potentially toxic or deadly in the wrong doses/hands - foxgloves (Digitalis), poppies (Morphine/Opium) McDonalds (oops sorry!lol)

Lol. I needed a good laugh!

Now back to the sore boobs...

Mine got much better this week once I started my period and then I noticed I've had a couple of decent nights of sleep! Does that mean my progesterone level has come back up?

Ha ha! That's sounds like me! I have no excuse, I have varifocals

so have them on all the time. I have been like it a couple of years

at least. I get quite hysterical at times as well lol😂any body else like this

My children (adults) look at me as if I have gone mad!😊

I could describe myself as manic at times! Full of energy and enthusiasm and not quite sure where to direct it. Then within hours having to lie down alone in a dark room. Does that mean I'm bipolar, so many labels to our feelings, I'm afraid to admit to them sometimes.

This phrase, " . . . I am bipolar?" troubles me.  If i had cancer, would I say, I am cancer?  I would say,  I HAVE cancer, right?  Or I HAVE bipolar. We are not a disease or a disorder,  but they are not WHO we are. You are more then an illness is what I am trying to say.

      Hope that makes sense.

Mental illness is a disease of the body that manifests it self in the brain.

I agree - we are not the disease/disorder. The other problem I have with 'bipolar' is the word itself. Am I the only one who thinks about Michael Palin and his Pole to Pole series?

Ha ha! That is very funny!Have been feeling rough today but you

have made me laugh with that one. Yes I always think of the

      North pole!😁
