Panic symptoms before bowel movement

Hi there

For a couple of years now I have been having a very strange happen to me, it used to happen occasionally but now it is every time I go for a bowel movement.

I will be happily going about my business or working or whatever when suddenly out of the blue I get this horrible feeling which is hard to describe, like a sinking feeling or impending doom. My fingers go tingly, I have difficulty breathing, shaky, fast heart rate...and then I need a bowel movement immediately. If I go I start to feel better after while, if for whatever reason I can't go right away it feels as if I will die.

anybody else with anything similar?

    So thankful to have come across this discussion! I had started a long reply, but deleted it by mistake lol I really thought i was losing my mind-i have experienced many similar symptoms for about 7 months. I've been theorizing it is caused by a screwed up vagus nerve, a pinched nerve in the elimination area, destroyed gut biome,sluggish intestinal movement, medication?

    I'm a 61y/o female with Panic disorder, anxiety, slow stomach emptying, poor gall bladder function.

      As you can see, quite a few people with same symptoms but none of us have a diagnosis or solution 😦

    Hello everyone im here because the exact thing happens to me aswell. Has anyone tried colonics ? A good clear out/reset. That is what im thinking could help us
