hi
I'm a 44 yr old latino male in good overall health. i went to urologist and they recommended a topical cream for 4 weeks. cream does not seem to be doing anything after 4 days. no biopsy. per urologist it appears benign. no pain no other symptoms. been like this since nov 2021. almost 1 yr. please help.

Seems to be fungal infection. Better consult a dermatologist.

Thanks for the insight. I will continue applying twice a day betamethasone dipropionate cream 0.05% until I see urologist again in 4-6 weeks. I will mention the fungal infection to the urologist. Have you ever seen before? Can I rule out penile cancer? Obviously a fungal infection is better. I appreciate the input!!!

hi,
there are so many of us going through penile skin issues and doctors often have no clue.
do you have circular white scaly lines/patches?
i am pretty sure i have Lichen Planus, yours doesnt necesarily look like it but potentialy bares some similarity but as the previous comment said it may be fungal.
i would say at the least that the penis skin looks dry/malnourished, would you agree?
at some point in my condition the quality of my skin really became degraded and it looked malnourished for lack of a better description.
i would suggest whatever the potential diagnosis to start using something like pure shea butter, borage oil etc and maybe pure organic aloe vera every day and really give some love to the skin and avoid using any soaps or shampoo down there, only water and very mild ph neutral product.
i believe one of the best things we can do to fix health issues is fasting for at least 5 days, there are many kinds of fasting, water fasting is the most potent, but research it a little.
many penile conditions are badly diagnosed.
keep us all updated
best of luck
