Penis foreskin cracks during sex, peeling skin, dots and spots [documented]

Hi,

First of all thank you for your time and sorry for the long post,

I'm a healthy 29y old male and in the past 8 months I've been having some problems when having sex. Around February I've noticed some cracks on my foreskin image, at the time i didn't thought much of it, and it eventually healed up, after that, every time i had my foreskin would always crack in the same spots with the same pattern, and it started to appear even more cracks imageimage, when they happen during sex, i can clearly feel them and it stings a little, but after the act, i would clean it with lukewarm water and i would only feel an occasional sting or 2, and, along with the cracks, i also feel the area where the cracks are very very raw and sensitive to the touch, the rest of the penis is fine. In the healing process, after 1 or 2 days, my skin would feel very dry, accompanied by some peeling skin where the cracks where imageimageimage, that area of the skin, eventually they would heal up, but the skin in that area looks a bit darker than the rest image, the dryness i would fight it with some moisturizer.

In all this months I've tried some approaches to tackle this without success, i used a cleaning solution with neutral PH and no fragrances, anti candida fungal ointment, topical steroid cream, fusidic acid and also elidel, already went to 2 different dermatologists, and the problem still persists, with a down side, that now, it seems to be getting worse as some dots started to appear on the glad imageimageimageimageimage and also on the foreskin area imageimage. Along with all of the this, the redder area of the skin sometimes when is dryer it also looks shinier. I'm posting here in hope of some advice of someone who has gone through the same thing. Before all of this, i had a normal sex life with no problems whatsoever.

Best regards, Thank you,

I'll jump in. I've had this issue for probably 10 years, sadly. I'm circumcised. Any tyoe of sex causes small splits under the head. It heals within 48 hours, but is always there. It's so depressing to know there's nothing to do. Any visits to the dermatologist have been "rushed", I guess because it's a pecker and everyone in the room acts weird. So, I'm always given a cream and told it'll go away. I've used several, but just ordered Pimafucort but I'm doubtful. I wonder if the skin is so thin now that I'm just cursed. I do think its fungal in nature do to that odd odor I get every now and then.

Thanks to all who shared their experiences.

Its irritation burns. Tough masturbation or hand jobs do this, also when you play with the penis alot. They will go over time, you might have to try putting antibacterial gel on it, or perhaps oil. They will go away over time.

Has anyone tried tacrolimus? I did an online dermatoligist visit and he prescribed this. I'll be trying starting tomorrow and will update.

      @Darkcloud348 any update about tacrolimus?

I have been following this thread for almost a year. I have almost exactly what the pictures at the beginning of the thread. I have tried almost all creams like cromazole, muciprocin . It helps the recovery but doesnt cure it. ** BTW I was diagnosed w Herpes 1-2 long time ago and never happened this before.**

My personal situation is it heals and looks fine like nothing happen May be some scaring if you look deep. Then if i have sex then it will break, having some crack lines under the head and sometimes even some bleeding.

Im not diabetic, I dont drink/smoke.

I went to the urologist 2 months ago and didnt took it seriously. Telling me it was friction which I know wasnt .

I am so frustrated but will keep looking for an answer . Will make another appointment at another urologist . Will see how they take it and how far we can go .

Keep posting and lets find a solution .

Did anyone experience that if any precum or seamen touches the affected skin then it gets much worse and even forms crust? Like when an open wound heals and leaves blood crusting.

This thing is pretty scary and the doctors really don't take it seriously. they just pass it over by saying this is friction related bruising which is painfully ignorant.

I am really glad to have come across this thread. I have been dealing with this for about 6 months now and have been to the doctor multiple times/got sti checks etc. Have been told it is a case of thrush and it's nothing to worry about, and to apply anti-fungal cream which I have done with no long term success. Symptoms look identical to OP and also gets significantly worse after sex. Feels good to know I am not alone here but also sorry that everyone is dealing with this right now, it is really taking a toll on my mental health. Will be closely following for updates.

Looking at many of these pictures, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the guys on this thread have herpes.

I was diagnosed via blood work for HSV 1 & 2 (Herpes). I think I had a diagnosis before ever having an outbreak. It's possible a new infection for me.

I believe I have an outbreak, but it doesn't present as blistering. It presents as superficial cracks on my shaft, just under the meatus. It's itchy and feels dry. No real pain.

    Hey Jo,

I can't tell you what it is but I suffered from this severely for the past 6 years or so. Only in the last 2 years have I been able to have sex unimpeded by this condition. Over that time I kept having sex with my then gf and developed thick scars from repeated lesions. After breaking up with my gf I went on a bender of sorts, hopping from partner to partner. Long story short, about 3 years ago I slept with a rando and got an STI called Molluscum contagiosum. I was prescribed imiquimod to treat. During treatment I realized that the thick layer of scar tissue had basically disappeared but my penis was definitely raw because of treatment. I think it actually promotes reorganization of your top skin layer. Anywho, I stopped treatment for a couple of weeks, and just switched to vaseline/Neosporin to promote healing. Once the skin grew back evenly I started up on treatment regimen again to further remove the remaining scar tissue. Following this cycle my penis health was much better but still not ideal. The process took nearly 10 weeks or so for full recovery. To maintain health I use a cream called emuaid, the extra strength version regularly. It's kind of expensive but you can get a trial size to see if it's right for you for much cheaper. Since then I rarely get minor cuts when I have really enthusiastic sex and mostly no problems during regular intercourse. I also used steroidal cream after i ran out of imiquimod to keep up the treatment cycle since I was only given about 6 weeks worth of imiquimod to start.

    Hope this helps guys

Hi folks. I wrote on here earlier this morning but it seems my comment was deleted by a moderator. I have had the same symptoms as alot of you on here. What worked for me was a product called Diprobase Cream Emolient. I put a bit of the cream on every morning and before bed time. After two week all is good again.
