Penis foreskin cracks during sex, peeling skin, dots and spots [documented]

Hi,

First of all thank you for your time and sorry for the long post,

I'm a healthy 29y old male and in the past 8 months I've been having some problems when having sex. Around February I've noticed some cracks on my foreskin image, at the time i didn't thought much of it, and it eventually healed up, after that, every time i had my foreskin would always crack in the same spots with the same pattern, and it started to appear even more cracks imageimage, when they happen during sex, i can clearly feel them and it stings a little, but after the act, i would clean it with lukewarm water and i would only feel an occasional sting or 2, and, along with the cracks, i also feel the area where the cracks are very very raw and sensitive to the touch, the rest of the penis is fine. In the healing process, after 1 or 2 days, my skin would feel very dry, accompanied by some peeling skin where the cracks where imageimageimage, that area of the skin, eventually they would heal up, but the skin in that area looks a bit darker than the rest image, the dryness i would fight it with some moisturizer.

In all this months I've tried some approaches to tackle this without success, i used a cleaning solution with neutral PH and no fragrances, anti candida fungal ointment, topical steroid cream, fusidic acid and also elidel, already went to 2 different dermatologists, and the problem still persists, with a down side, that now, it seems to be getting worse as some dots started to appear on the glad imageimageimageimageimage and also on the foreskin area imageimage. Along with all of the this, the redder area of the skin sometimes when is dryer it also looks shinier. I'm posting here in hope of some advice of someone who has gone through the same thing. Before all of this, i had a normal sex life with no problems whatsoever.

Best regards, Thank you,

What was it that you guys sent but was deleted by the moderator? I believe one of my posts was deleted for sending a link, which talked about the cream Imiquimod.

You guessed it. Giving a picture of the products you can use somehow gets deleted. Can you imagine that?. Showing people what to take to cure themselves so they can have a visual of it gets removed by the mods. Even with sentence context that shows its not an advertisement but just showing people what steps to take to treat their condition.

If a cream that is a kind of immunosoppressor works it means that we are all affected by a kind of autoimmune disease? If it's not an infection what else could it be? The solutions are few:

    • xerodermia
    • Psoriasis
    • (God will protect us) a kind of Lichen

I've been to my GP again, telling all my story of dry skin on penis head and now on my shaft even, she visited me again and say that, in her opinion, I have a "normal penis", even better than the last time she have seen me, but she absolutely does not know what I have, she gave me a list of products that I should use, but when I told her that I already used it all, she doesn't know what to tell me more, and gave up giving me an anti fungal soap (that I will not use, honestly, cause I've made a lot of tests and swabs on my penis and always come back negative).

All we have negative tests and our penis still have problems, so I'm supposing we could have an autoimmune disease. The strange fact is that doctors have excluded it too from my penis, so what could it be?

I know it's frustrating for all of us.

But we have to find a solution, absolutely. Maybe I will go for a circumcision if the situation would not heal by itself. Even if it could be a kind of lichen, circumcision would help.

I don't want to give up, I never give up.

Already gave one. Follow the directions I left in Steps. You'll thank me for it.

But I just have dry skin, with no symptoms or cracks, could work anyway?

Hey john I'm going to try your method but since I don't have physical bleeding cuts of my penis I'm just going to use the A & D with Vaseline over the top since my penis as I don't need to bandages to hold the skin together. Just has dryness, sheading white skin and surface cracks from any kind of slight friction. I'm still believe there's a chance this is just a bacterial or fungal infection that is just really tuff to beat and is the only thing that would make sense to me if it was. I will be starting tomorrow as I ordered the A & D online and I will report back later if I find any success.

Hi! You have just dryness? How is your story? I have a similar situation

I was training for a half marathon in 2019 (ran another half marathon a month ago now I'm not running at all for this reason and I f*****g miss running so it's hard) and as I trained almost every single day

for probably months before the race as I was training I developed a rash in-between my inner thighs on both sides which I have no other explanation as too what it was caused by except the sweating too much between my legs and probably not showering straight away after the gym since my dad would always not allow me to have a shower after the gym and take me to the pub before I got home and had a proper shower. So a fungus or bacteria? It looked and had the same exact symptoms of thrush aka jock itch which is usually found in women who get yeast infections but men can also get it especially if your an athlete who trains a lot like I do.

I never thought much of the rash until one day it started itching like hell which is another symptom of jock itch. I used some anti bacterial gel and the itching went away then I just proceeded to ignore it because I didn't think it was gonna f**k my life up especially as I'm a perfectly healthy and young guy thought it was just some ordinary rash that would pass by. (fyi never usually get rashes ever)

long story short I went to many doctors over the past two years I've been mis diagnosed many times by doctors or they do not know what the problem is or the cause and give me loads of medications. I don't need and don't work which have damaged me more then helped. (mostly anti fungal medications either orally or by cream) bla bla bla the worst mistake is I have kept training meaning I haven't taken much time for it to potentially heal maybe a reason it so difficult to go away? but I have stopped running much lately which is making me depressed as I rely on it for the little mental health I still have lol. The rash on inner thighs eventually disappeared somehow (well it's still here just faded a bit and probably complicated by the anti fungal steroid creams but looks more faded) It then had infected the head of my penis under my foreskin and caused it to be extremely dry and kind of red. (redness and dryness vary from day to day but always somewhat dry and red). I literally cant have a wk anymore lmao without cracking the skin on my penis causing it to be more dry and sore. It's not like I wk too strenuously or have changed anything I do normally in all the years before this happened? I've been a normal w****r all my life and had no problems with my c**k until this marathon training.

Sorry the short story is not very short but I have tried most things everyone else in this thread has tried but with no luck and I'm feeling like I'm never gonna recover from this and I feel scared for long term health and if I can ever run seriously again or have a f*g wk without damaging my health lol or even have a girl friend without having to worry about this disease or what ever the fk this god for saken thing it is that appears to be affecting a lot of people here too.

I'm just grateful at least my foreskin is unaffected unlike majority of the people in this thread which is also strange that it affects some peoples foreskin as well and not me?

Also if I do somehow find myself in recovery sometime soon please god I beg will still have visible cracks on the head of my penis that look much much worse when erect and this will f**k my confidence over for the rest of my life I'm sure of that. But hey maybe at least ill be able to go for a jog.

My situation appeared in 2019 after I think about intercourse, everything swelled up, I applied an antifungal wash and everything seemed to have passed, then throughout 2020 basically normal, just a little sensation of glans skin pulling in erection, but all well hydrated. In November 2020 the whole glans begins to dry out, I go to the doctors, 9 doctors in all, who tell me that he has nothing, except one who says that the dryness is a lichen sclerosus, a pathology however excluded by the other doctors who however did not have me given another differential diagnosis, saying it was the drugs' fault. Those who told me about lichen sclerosus in fact gave me a cortisone cream, antibacterial and antifungal, which only made the situation much worse. After 6 months from the cortisone cream it seems to be better, but sometimes the penis always seems to me to be dry, other times in the morning it seems hydrated, but not much. So I don't know, I would like to exclude a pathology, also because only dryness, without spots, I don't think can be attributable to a pathology. I also had the opportunity to speak with four other doctors online, who also excluded lichen from me, because it should bring symptoms such as burning or pain, white spots, phimosis or cuts on the foreskin. I have absolutely none of this, just dryness, which I hope is absolutely nothing. The thing that unnerves me a lot is that it does not pass completely, it has been two years since the beginning of the troubles, if it had been a disease I think it would have been seen, but I don't know what to exclude though. I have done a myriad of exams, I have written my detailed history on this site in my post, but I do not give up, soon I have another visit to the andrologist and I will have reached 10 consultations. I hope you understand something. And above all that I exclude diseases. OBVIOUSLY I HAVE REDUCED DRASTICALLY MASTURBATION AND RELATIONSHIP THIS YEAR

You aren't bandaging your dick to hold the skin together. You are bandaging your dick so the hydroseal etc stays in place and keeps the area moist. I fully explained that. If you decide to do your own method. You can't hold me accountable if you don't heal as fast as you could have. So for that I wish you best of luck with your own way. Yet I tried that and can tell you it wont work because all you'll be doing is smearing it all over the place instead of letting it sit in an environment where its moist non stop to heal properly.

Yet to each their own I guess.

I'll give an example why not bandaging it wont work for people. Lets say you have an egg. Then you have to carry that egg a mile down the road. One person says, "Well why do I need this egg in a shell" for whatever reason. Thus he cracks that egg and hold the yolk in the palm of his hand as he runs down the road. Another person says, "Why did he crack the egg and carry the yolk when he could of left it in the shell". This person runs down the same road. They both end up at the end of the road. The guy who cracked the egg and carried the yolk realized there is no more egg yolk in his hand. It smeared all over his hand while running, and dried out. While the person who kept the egg in the shell maintained every bit of that egg.

The point of the bandage is to be your shell. If you just apply Vaseline and A & D on your dick but you dont secure it with the other things I mentioned. All that's going to happen is you'll smear it all over your underwear. Meaning majority of your day your dick will end up being dry. Thus unless everywhere you go you want to wash your hands and apply it non stop all day to keep your dick from drying out. It would be smarter to continue using the hydro seal and the wraps that locks in the Vaseline & A & D so your dick doesnt dry out and it sits in that environment for hrs on end.

I knew the moment I conveyed how important these steps were. Someone would look for a shortcut. Yet I'll say this. If you truly and I mean truly want to heal your dick because I'm healed already. Follow my advice because I had the worse case and I'm fully healed. That should be enough said. Being I started off with minor cracks. Listened to the misinformed advice of these antifungal creams and it only scabbed, opened up the wounds, and made it worse. It was only after several different attempts I found that Step by Step method I listed. Thus if you want a guaranteed way to heal. Follow my Steps. If you want a I think this will work but I'm not really sure because I'm not healed yet. Follow anyone else method. I'm just saying what worked for me. Its up to you to decide if your dick is worth taking an unsure method route or one a person tells you 100% fully worked.

Another example: When you put your dick in a vagina. Its warm and moist. The moment you take your dick out. It begins after a while to dry up.

In this case think of the bandages with the hydro seal, Vaseline, and A & D as a Vagina. If you keep it wrapped in that environment it keeps in that moisture. Your dick doesn't dry out.

If you choose not to use the hydro seal, Vaseline, A & D, and bandages. You end up with your dick exposed. It doesn't heal fast because its drying out incredibly fast due to air exposure and rubbing up on cloth etc. Thus not allowing it to heal as it could have/should have. You are basically raisining out your dick. Use all the disinfectants I mentioned. The warm water towel treatments in the exact same way I mentioned. Being I listened to a lot of these people in this thread and sorry but there methods were dead wrong. I mean they put your dick at serious risk to levels you didnt even need to be in. Had I known of my way before going on this thread. I would of been healed probably by the second month instead of suffering for 3 months by making my situation worse because of their suggestions. Then having to find my method causing me to go through an extended 3 extra month process of healing; which my method fully worked. As stated its up to everyone to follow what they think its best for them. Yet if you have been suffering with this for months or even years. Question: What do you have to lose by following my exact specific steps for the next 3 months? Really what do you have to lose? What I guarantee is you'll be back in this thread agreeing with each and every single post I made.

You're saying it fully worked but you aren't healed yet and don't know if it will come back?

    • Posted

Do you not read? I stated I'm fully healed several times now. How does a person gloss over that several times a person mentions it?

    • Posted

Sorry, I read you saying about not being healed but seems you were referring to not following the steps 100%. Are you sure about A&D being fragrance free? The one with the mom and baby on the front has fragrance. And did you wear your wrapped dick to bed?

    • Edited

That is not a fragrance. That's what vitamins smells like. Its not scentless. Fragrance is additional chemical added in for the sake of smelling good. Stuff like that you should avoid. Also, as stated you keep it wrapped and keep cleaning the area 4 to 5 hours each time. Then follow the steps accordingly in repeat. Thus yes you wear it while sleeping as well.

I just visited a dermatologist that I used to go to as a kid to treat acne, also because he is well-regarded online. I gave him as much info as I could and he gave me a steroid called Halog Ointment, and told me to use it sparingly twice a day for two weeks with Aquaphor Ointment Body Spray on top of it. He seemed VERY confident about this approach despite my concerns about using a steroid, though he immediately said the issue wasn't fungal which is reassuring. I also asked him about the products suggested by john80235. He says it's overkill, but doesn't see anything wrong with the products except that Antiseptic Wash could be an irritant. That's all the info I have for now. I'm hesitant on using steroid cream but I may post my penis on here if I decide to go through with it so we can see before and after and so you guys can be sure that I have similar symptoms.

    • Edited

They get paid to push those creams on you during their seminars. That's how they get their bonuses. Yet I'm cured as I said before. Yet I wont stop you from experimenting on your dick however you please. Given there is no irritants in anything I gave out. That's a flat out lie. Imagine saying what I gave was an irritant but he's literally pushing you to put steroid cream on your dick. That makes complete sense (sarcasm). Also by all means read the ingredients of the Antiseptic Wound Wash Anti Bacterial Spray. Then you'll realize your doctor is a quack.

Your quack doctor literally just told you something that is meant to heal wounds, that doesn't sting, or have severe effects like rubbing alcohol but goes on like water is an irritant?. You might want to start questioning his judgement. You're going to dry out the hell out of your dick and when its start scabbing up because of those steroids or you end up with future penis malfunctions you can thank your doc for that one.

Here is the other spray I mentioned as well. Can you imagine calling these irritants lol

I think it's just concerning putting the Antiseptic on your penis since it's sensitive skin but I really don't know much about steroid creams either. I do have all the products you listed sitting on my counter, I'm just trying to get all the feedback I can.

    • Posted

If you have it then try it. I can guarantee you for a fact you wont feel any stinging or irritation. He only told you that rubbish because he wanted you to try that dangerous cream on your dick. If anything you should ovoid taking that more than anything else. I have sensitive skin and I can tell you for a fact using the Antiseptic on your penis will feel literally no different then water applied on your dick. Yet what I can guarantee is if you use that steroid cream you'll regret it.
