I hope to find a chat/email buddy or two to chat about this crap. It’s really ridiculous how many symptoms we can have. I found over 60 pm related aches pains etc related to these hormones. Goodness, no wonder we think we are going crazy.!!

I would love someone to talk to as well. Nobody seems to have half the problems I do with this nasty business. I ache and I'm so tired and my feet are swelled and I have dizziness and sore throat and ear pain and I'm like a desert down there. Dry mouth is terrible and blurry vision to mention a few. My email is

You can talk to me Shawna. Been there, done that. I'm sure I've had every one of the symptoms on the 66 symptoms list, and some that weren't on there lol.
When I've tried to get help from docs, about 20 or more over the past two years, I am told everything is normal and should see a psychiatrist. When I don't agree, they dismiss me. And when I ask to see a different doctor at the clinic, they say I can't return there. And I'm like, what? That's how I've been treated. Only one doc at an ER visit suggested peri, but still have never got any answers or solutions from docs other than pills that make me sick and do not help.
I have tried many things and have just started an estrogen patch, using bioidentical progesterone and starting a low dose dhea supplement. Also started a thyroid supplement from health food store with iodine, selenium and l tryosine.
I am now almost 48, and just one month shy of no period for a year. I am tall and slender, so am hoping the estrogen patch will restore my periods. Yes, sounds crazy, but I want my period back. Periods actually protect us from osteoporosis, keep us healthy, etc.
I did a hormone saliva test recently and it showed my estrogen levels were zilch. I also have night sweats and day ones, but those are the least of the symptoms. Vaginal symptoms, too.
Have you had any success with doctors? I can't believe how many are still prescribing synthetic, chemically altered hormones women with their known risks.
Write anytime!
