Hi, i have been having heart palpatations really bad, that it feels like going to have a heart attack sometimes, i felt so weak, usually happens around, before and after my period, went to my Doctor because im sick of it and worried, going to give me a ECG. But, when i told my sister she said exact same thing happened to her for Perimenopause, they sent her for ECG too, it was normal. My period is irregular too, September i had 2 periods in 1 month, and spotting before period. Anyone had the same thing? Would really like to hear im not going crazy lol, i have anxiety with it too. Im 39 years old. My Mum had it in her 30's. My sister just had a hysterectomy because bleeding every 2 weeks. Also, im getting bad migraines. I never experienced this before. Thank you.

My options to treat range from course of progestin follow up hysteroscopy, Mirena coil, or hysterectomy. I understand coil is effective to stop bleeds. Discussing with gyne really helps. It could be your peri menopausal .
I hope it works out. Keep asking questions & try not to worry. Anxiety is the most factor with all of us.

i am going through exactly the same thing, I'm 47 and been peri nearly two years, been in a&e countless times, only last week, I gave also had a heart machine on for a full week, had lots of ecg all normal, the last one I had did show up the palputations and also my blood pressure was high, they said it is the anxiety, which was brought on when I went peri, before then I have never suffered with no anxiety or health problems, I have been told by the doctor that once I have missed a full year of periods the majority of these symptoms will go 😄, the main one I want gone is the health anxiety I am constantly thinking I have major things wrong with me, just had a full health check done at bupa and apart from the palputations and the high blood pressure reading everything else was normal, so I'm going to try and remember this when the anxiety strikes it's ugly head, please don't stress because it is normal to have all these feelings, sending big hugs your way xx

You mentioned that the palpitations do go away. Do you mean for good or does it depend on what stage of peri you are at x
