Hi my name is Maria, I have been suffering from shaking and hot flashes when I sleep at night.

I am either internally cold which makes me shake or I am being hit with hot flashes. I find myself waking up at least 3 to 4 times in the night. My anxiety is at an all time high when I am sleeping.

My body feels like it is in overdrive making my life miserable. The good thing is I don't have the internal shaking in the day.

I have been to my doctors so many times.

I am almost 44. GP took my b12 and menopause bloods, unsure if all the hormones were checked, but results came back normal. I have regular periods but they are closer together now and lighter. The internal tremors are scary, and mainly happen at rest in my left arm. I have also had palpitations and anxiety the past year. A friend who is a reflexologist has said she has noticed younger women reporting perimenopause or menopausal symptoms. I also have had brain fog for the first time this summer. Its all disconcerting. If women have always had these changes, are we noticing because we have more health/medical awareness?

well im experiencing inner body tremors. they are terrible I feel like jumping off a bridge while they happening. Ive pinpointed the cause as hrt pessaries. I was prescribed then for vaginal atrophy and I used them for 3 months during which time I got the tremors, I described them to my doctor as heart palpitations and I was told it was anxiety , well i was anxious alright but I stopped using the hrt and I slowly over a month got better. Then my doctor advised me again to try half the dose which I did and bang the next day I have tremors back with avengous.,its 4 days since that minute dose and Im till struggling. I do not know where to get help really. Im 62 years old and 10 years post menopause I donot understand why this low dose estrogen has reacted this way but I know it’s the cause. Try convincing a doctor of this ??
