I'd just really like it - if our comment is deleted (after taking ages to write a response to somebody!), that the people deleting it actually contacted us to TELL us that it's been deleted, told us what we wrote (so I know - because now I don't know what it was or how important it was = ie for the person that I/we wrote back to), and I'd really like it if they told us WHY it was deleted 😦

    Thank you.

    Louise

I know exactly what you mean! i'm in exactly the same boat - I've been taking really high levels of Vitamin C (Green Nutritionals) though and I feel that it has really helped. I've slowly worked up to 2000mg per day. Maybe you could try that?

I hope you feel much better SOON!

      Much love and healing,

    Hi everyone.

I believe I started this internal tremors discussion a little while back. I think I started it by saying it was a fibromyalgia symptom. Which for me, I think it is because fibro affects the nerves like that. I feel like I am shaking inside, like I am cold. I think it is both menopause and fibro. Ever since I started going through menopause I felt like my internal "thermostat" is off. Cold. Hot. Sweats..everything. Has anyone ever been to a rheumatologist to get tested for fibro? It does most definitely affect the nerves. You have chronic pain, some people not as bad as others. Look up the trigger points. Does it hurt when you press on them? Heart palpitations? So many symptoms that are the same as peri and menopause. I do take a little Ativan ( I take the generic) at night when I wake up and can't go back to sleep. Very small dose. I have .05 mg and break those in half! Works for me. No side effects. Other than that I do not take any other meds. I try to stay as natural as possible. Oh I do take ibuprofen and Tylenol when I need them. And I take St Johns Wort. Been on that for years. It is natures answer to Prozac. And works for anxiety and mild depression which is so common with fibro and menopause. I truly believe the internal tremors are benign and I attribute mine to fibromyalgia more than menopause because of the way fibro affects the nervous system. My skin even gets sore to touch, mostly on the back of my thighs. Why, I do not know. But that is fibro. So many people have it and are never diagnosed. Only a rheumatologist can diagnose that or if you are lucky, your family doctor knows how to diagnose. I know it is hard to take at first. Like great, menopause and now I have to worry about fibromyalgia? Don't worry. Knowing what you have is half the battle. Take care all.

      Hi Geena,

I got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a couple of years ago. 80-90% of people with Fibro are women and the vast majority of them are aged 40-55 so Fibro maps on to menopause quite neatly. Not much research has been done (because we live in a patriarchal society) but to me, this suggests the two things are linked. I've found yoga, walking, wild swimming and dancing enormously therapeutic.

      Be well,

      Eres

Oh Man, where do I start. I have ankle pain on outer portion, it comes and goes. I have dry eyes, weird nerve sensations that shoot down my legs, heart paps, bloating very often, and heavy periods.

    Hi Michelle,

I have this too. I notice it less when I'm busy but when I'm meditating, or reading in bed, sitting watching a movie etc I feel it. It did scare me at first and I was worried it was the onset of Parkinsons but I was hugely relieved when I did a bit of research and found out it's a symptom of perimenopause / menopause. It's just not one of the one's that get's mentioned. Try not to worry about it, it will pass.

    Take care,

    Eres

Hi Michelle, I am going through what you are going through since last Nov. I kinda hit my menopause ( turning 50 this year) .. spotting but not really having much since March this year. I cannot sleep because of the inner tremors. It is the worst at night time and the tremors come like waves. I feel them during the day too but night time is really challenging. I initially thought i might be hyperglycemic and did home kit tests. The test results showed otherwise. I have taken 25 mg beta blocker twice since two days ago. The med certainly helps to subside the tremors, but like you said, I am concerned about the possible side effects. I read 34 menopause symptoms and asked my GY if tremors were part of the symptoms. Tremors are not on the list and my GY said no. I hope it is one of the menopause symptoms.

Hello. New to this but so thankful I found it. I am 47 and am sure I am in the throes of peri. All started about two years ago with crippling anxiety/panic attacks. The attacks sent me to the ER three times with tachycardia, shortness of breath, numbness and tingling in extremities, dizzness. Have all sorts of other symptoms I am attributing to peri. Buzzing sensations, weakness, palpitations especially at night, GI issues, hot flashes, itchy and sensitive skin, and brand new to the show...pelvic pain. i went off of oral BC pills about two months ago and found that my panic attacks have stopped. I have yet to have a cycle since stopping. Has anyone had that happen? Not really worried about pregnancy but might take a test if period doesn't resume soon and if the pelvic pain doesn't subside.

I have this too. I'm in perimenopause and I also have fibromyalgia so not sure what is causing this. The internal shaking just started a couple weeks ago for me and seemed to coincide with a significant increase in hotflashes. It seems to be worse for me when sitting.

Had to make sure I hadn't written this post myself using another name haha, feel exactly the same, I also take 15mg of Mirt and also want to come off but I'm afraid, thinking that if I'm such a wreck on it, what would I be like without it
