Piece of skin attached to glans (pictures attached)

I have a piece of skin that is connected to my glans from my shaft. It is odd in that it is, i'm not sure how to say it, hollow? It doesn't really cause any discomfort and I am 29 and it's never gotten in the way of anything but it is strange and I guess curiosity has finally gotten the better of me so I figured I would ask to see if anyone could tell me what it is or how it got like this.  It's extremely noticeable during an erection but again it doesn't get in the way of anything it just looks a little odd, although no one has ever said anything about it.

I think it's great that you and any partner has accepted it as normal for you.

It must have been the way you were formed in the womb, an adhesion, or perhaps a stage of the foreskin freeing up from the Glans that didn't quite get completed?

Actually, I think it looks rather special. Somewhere to keep a pencil or attach a piece of jewellery perhaps ? !

As Pepasan suggests, this could have occurred at anytime from conception to pubertal maturity.  It does make your rather unique, it would be easily sorted by simple surgery if you wished - but, if it is not an issue for you, then why bother.  If you were into bodily decoration and piercings, particularly, it gives you an advantage over other people; but, this is probable not what you are into anyway ....

What I would suggest is the only ways I know of are to abstain completely from Masturbation or Sexual activity.  If you use any other forms of regular stimulation to your penis, such as any type of massage action, flexing, or encouraging additional blood flow into the penis then stop doing this too.

Men in various particular cultures practice 'natural' penile enlargement, so if you have been told to do this, then again, you would need to abstain from this.

However, make sure you wash the end of your penis with water only to keep good penile hygiene.  I am wondering if there is a particular reason you want to achieve this?!

This is why I stated the information ... I have tried all these techniques (and others of penis enlargement) and due to several penile conditions and injuries I have abstained from what I have suggested to you ....

It would be best if you post a photo clearly showing the skin attachment. I would suggest you start a New Discussion using the button at the very bottom of this web page .....

Are you jewish, or muslim? Where did you get circumcised? If you go to a professional circumciser, they know how to deal with it very easily.

Hello, i’m 19 & I have this same issue. I wanted to know like where to go to get this removed? like what’s the surgery/ procedure named?

I think what you are referring to is circumcision - depending where you have this done you can have a partial, or a complete circumcision.  There are advantages to being circumcised and for your foreskin to remain fully intact - you would need to weigh-up both sides of argument before having this done.

If you live in the UK, go along to a Specialist Sexual Health Service, such as a GUM Clinic at a General Hospital. or many large cities have Specialist Sexual Health Walk-in Centers - as to speak to a duty Urologist to get their advice.  If you have particular religious beliefs you may want to refer to what people of that community think of circumcision, and, ask people of your own age from that community what they feel about circumcision .....

This looks like an adhesion from your circumcision. If it is it is easily corrected. See a urologist.
