How long do I need to keep a pillow between legs when lying on non op side. At 6 weeks review 2 weeks ago, I was told I could lie on non op side with a pillow between legs but forgot to ask how long I need to keep pillow. Also how long before if is comfortable to lie on op side.

If your scar is still feeling like the Princess and the Pea then I would stay on the other side or maybe just do some practising on the op side and let your body find the way - don't forget you are slightly differently shaped now.

My body decided for me(!) at about week 5 I woke up without a pillow between my knees on my unoperated side and there was no pain or stiffness. Was very careful for a few days but now move where I like at week 6/7. Just to be clear my operated leg was over the centre line as well!

see, i love the pilow between my legs - i had a full length body pillow in L.A., didn;t bring it with me, regretted it and just got one delivered a couple of days ago - not the same and darn expensive but happy I have something to hug - unfortunately this onje is not full size ...didn;t know what to do with my shoulders, arms - legs are paralel to each other most of the time - this is not the same as a regular head pillow between knees though -
as for the operated side, well, just try until you are comfortable -
warm hug to all on this windy, rainy day in holland
