PIP decision received

Well the brown envelope fell through the door yesterday. No entitlemnet to PIP as I did not score enough points. I got 6 for daily living and 4 for mobility .
The two descriptors I thought would stand my best chance of being awarded the care part I got zero points for both.
I am disappointed but not surprised as I was expecting it given PIPs track record. Will be calling them tomorrow and asking for the assessors report as certain things the DM said in his decision doesn't sound right
I will keep you all updated
Happy Sunday and gentle hugs everyone x

They have no clue what we go through on a daily basis yet they can make decisions about us without knowing us, or having any knowledge of our condition.
Hope that you will appeal against the decision and try your hardest not to stress too much, as stress is the worst enemy of fibro.
Take care and gentle hugs x

It is very frustrating but I was expecting it to be fair as this process seems normal for PIP. I wasn't too stressed because I was expecting it, mind you saying that my IBS has been a nightmare over the past couple of days so I'm sure somethng inside is stressing lol
I'm going to contact DWP today and start the process. Will update when things are in motion
Thanks for your support and hugs back x

Just thought I would update you on my PIP saga.
After being turned down I applied for a mandatory recon, which also came back denied - so I completed a SSCS form for appeal and sent a 7 page statement disecting the ATOS assessment down to its bare bones.
Received a letter from HMCTS stating I would receive DWP reasons and then appeal date.
Today I had a call from a lovely lady at the DWP saying that she agreed I should have been awarded more points for DL and have increased it to 8 points - but because I have been unable to provide supporting evidence of how my mobility is affected she is unable to consider any more points for the 'getting around' element and that remains at 4. I explained my long awaited appointments with rheumy and sleep clinic were imminent and she said if I could send some supporting evidence after these or from my GP they would again reconsider the mobility bit so half the battle won - my SSP ends in Dec so ESA will be next

Fingers crossed for you hun.
It is a stressful process, and she did say I could still continue to tribunal if I disagreed with her decision, but to be honest I have been feeling so crappy lately this will be one less thing to stress/worry about.
Feel free to msg me for a chat, moan etc on the run up to your tribunal and let us know how it goes

I wonder if it would be worth me phoning them up beforehand, because they should have given me the 8 points, but didn't. I think it was because I sent a letter in from my sis-in-law late (she watches over my medication, as I can't manage it)
