I told them I didn't like people in my home, and that I wasn't comfortable.the reason being they visited my sister when she was on kidney dyalis and they watched her like a hall and as you could be aware your more comfortable in your home so she told the truth but didn't get any DLA at the time because they said she was able to move about and use toilet and was therefore able bodied, we appealed unfortunately she died before the date which she ironically won. Just too risky and I just refused for them to make me uncomfortable. Hope that helps

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister and the disgusting way she was treated. Sometimes I think should I even bother trying to claim pip as it's just hassle and stress isn't it. Did you mange to get it in the end

      Huge gentle hugs

Yes, don't let yourself in doubt, I was going to give up at one polnt, but I realise that's a possible tactic, my first one was postponed because I had a stroke in 2014 and was getting all my dates muddled up. So they asked if they could obtain a copy of my doctors records, which I happily agreed to, that's when they wanted to visit at home. Yes I got enhanced rate for everyday and basic mobility. Do go and tell the truth and you will be fine, my doctor also gave me a couple of Valium to help me relax so good luck
