So you had a home assessment then two weeks later they replied to you with a decision ? Was it for pip and did you get a decision in your favour ?

Did you ask for a copy of your report ?

Times scales vary wildly from person to person and depend on a lot of things. Comparing 2 people is impossible when it comes to time scales with DWP.  A lot depends on where you are in the country, the backlog the decision maker has, how much evidence you provided, so many things factor that decision. It can be anything from 2-8 weeks. You asked for a copy of the assessment report so you should recieve that soon. The decision makers does tend to go with the report and mostly awards what's be adviced. It's very rare for the decision maker to go against this report. If you put a mobile number down on the form then they'll text you when they have all the evidence they need. Once you have this then decisions are usually made soon after. I'm guessing this is for your PIP? I know it's stressful waiting but there's really nothing you can do until that decision has been made. Is it a first claim or a review?

Vincenzo,  I know you are eager to hear about your claim, but there is no definite time limit, not even for people in the same part of the country. Mine took about 4 weeks, someone else very near to me took 7 weeks.

There is a limit to how many questions you can ask before it becomes quite rude, especially asking if they received a decision in their favour.

Listen , I'm not a child and don't need talking to like one , I did not realise I was being rude and still do not think it's rude . I thought this forum was to ask about advice from each other I merely asked TEADOW  had got a decision in his favour and to be fair TEADOW  was the person who made input into this thread on his own accord I did not ask him to , he posted his comment on his own accord implying he was happy to help . If he thought it was rude of me to ask questions well that's up to him to say not you .

I won't bother commenting on here anymore .

No one has said you're child and sukes hasn't treated you like one. I agree that sometimes what you say comes across as being rude. Like i said before, you've given limited info about yourself, what benefits you currently claim etc. We can only help based on the info that you give, if we don't know all the details it's impossible to help. I'll gladly help anyone that posts here but i also have multiple health issues and asking questions in drips and drabs doesn't really help anyone. If you choose not to comment anymore then that's your choice. Like i said earlier i wish you good luck in both your current claims.

Vincenzo, you are still being rude.  You come on here and ask questions which people are happy to answer, but then you ask them again and again. As I've said before we do not get paid to answer questions, no-one here is employed by the DWP, we do it because we have all experienced certain things and hope that our replies will help someone.

We are here to help, but whether or not you choose to comment on here anymore, is entirely up to you.

TEADOW has said he did not mine me asking him questions he never said I was rude you and sukes have both butted in our conversation when it had nothing to do with you as I was not asking you two for advice . Now just leave it at that and you done need to add any more comments as it's becoming weird like you are stalking me

Stalking you?? LOL i have grown up kids in their 20's i can assure you i'm definitely NOT a stalker. I'm the most active person her that's given people a lot of advice, including yourself! When posting a question a forum it's fairly obvious that others will answer the questions too. Hense why it's an open forum. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Goodbye smile
