planta fasciitis

my daughter has been suffering for the last 8 months with this condition, and it’s been very painful for her. After all the exercises, wearing a boot for 6 weeks painkillers the end is in sight. The pain has eased, although she still has pain it’s becoming more manageable. Having gone to the doctors and waiting 8 weeks for an appointment ( which I find appalling) then waiting further time for physio now she has to see the consultant in December after waiting 3 months.

Hi, there is a forum dedicated to plantar fasciitis. You might want to re-post there.

I had plantar fasciitis. Here are some things that helped me:

Stretching, wearing a special boot during the night (that is designed to keep the foot at a 90-degree angle), rolling a golf ball along the sole while putting pressure on the foot, cooling the area, and wearing prescribed insoles that support the arch. It took almost a year for it to finally subside. Hope your daughter recovers soon.
