Please Help

my 77 year old mother got sick recently and i had to take care of her. I saw this on her vulva acter she complained of itchiness. Please help me. Will see a doctor but I need to know if this is life threatening. image

    Theres no way anyone on here can tell you how serious this is. She needs to have swabs taken to get a correct diagnosis and treatment. Dont assume the worse,there are lots of vulval problems that can look quite frightening but with proper medication can be sorted out. Poor lady, she must be suffering. Do get her to a doctor ASAP.

      Yes we are seeing a doctor on Monday. She's been scheduled for a biopsy. I was worried so I was wondering if anyone has an idea what this might be.

      Yes. We had a biopsy done and it came out to be non-malignant.

      The found it to be parakeratosis which could be a reaction to Insulin or the steriods she was given during her ailment.
