hi everyone, recently i have had a new sex partner for about a month. About 2 weeks ago i thought i had a UTI so i got tested and found out i had BV (bacterial Vaginosis). the doctor gave me a medicine to take but i did not start that medicine until yesterday because i was stubborn and could not drink on it. I just came back from vacation last sunday and had sex with that same partner. He is not my commited partner so im not sure who he could have been sleeping with and of course im dumb and embarrsed to ask him to use a condom so we had sex without on. Just this thursday i have discovered some soars near my vagina and of course i am freaking out. Of course i went to google and it tells me i may be developing symptoms of genital herpes. I am getting tested Monday and of course im excpecting the worst and assuming its herpes which freaks me out because im only 20 years old and now i feel as if my life is over. Can anybody help here and give me some advice to help me ease my thoughts imageimageimageimage

    Hi honey

I was recently diagnosed with GHSV-1 about two months ago and i thought (sometimes still think) my life is over and that no one will love or accept me again... but it does get better.

Theres a really amazing girl on youtube i want you to check out, ive watched her video on herpes every time i start feeling the way i do. Her account is called The Candid Confessions and the title of the video is living with genital herpes.

Your outbreak is exactly what mine looked like. Wishing the best of luck, sending you love
