PMDD and Perimenopause

I'm curious. Did you ladies have PMDD while you were younger? I always had very bad PMS symptoms of fatigue, depression, migraines to the point I'd have to take naps. Now these seem nothing in comparison to peri symptoms. But I'm wondering if having PMDD is a factor is having such a difficult peri.

It most definitely is. My wife would get PMDD during her normal cycles (rage, fatigue, irritability)....now that she is about 4 years into Perimenopause and 42 years old. She is 1000 times worst than when she was going through PMDD, which I used to think was pretty bad. Biggest difference is that during PMDD it would only last about 3-4 days max. Perimenopause is unpredictable and daily. Its reversed, we may get 3-4 days of peace were she appears normal and jolly, but after those days its back to super irritability, angry, super anxious, and me trying to survive all the verbal abuse a man can take.
