Possible chirrosis?

Im 24 ive been binge drinking for about two years and a half years , drink about 2-3 days a week about 8 beers each time. Before that i drank once a month probably a couple shots since i was 18. Im scared i may have chirrosis even though i do not have any symptoms. I went to the doctor about 8 months ago and my doc did routine blood test and had told me my liver is in the normal range, i told her about my increase in drinking and she told me i should definitely cut back but she never talked anymore about it. Ive stopped drinking recently. I just wanna know what are your guys thoughts, do you think theres a good chance i have chrissos? I do have heart palpitations and i get itchy skin, but I usually get the itchy skin if i drank too much and peed the bed.

    Ask your doctor for cortisone cream for itchy skin.

    Go to AA to stop drinking for good.

    I had no alcohol for 20 years and then had half a glass of champagne and my gut blew up like abpregnant woman. Had a cat scan today.

      I went to the doctor on friday and she took blood and urine sample. I told her about my problems amd she examined my body and told me that i probably had a swollen lived but it had already started healing itself and that she would run a liver test on my blood. I have to wait about two weeks for the results

      Did she seem concerned at all? Did she send you for ultrasound or she just doing the lab work first?

      No not really she just told me to really cut down on the drinking before it becomes a problem and no she didnt send me to get a ultrasound, I'll probably have to ask her if i can do one

      Well, if she would have felt and enlarged liver or would have thought it was a critical matter, she would've sent you for an ultrasound at least. You won't need to ask her if you need one, if your blood work comes back funny she will order one

    I got the bloodwork back and everything was in normal ranges, i told her still sometimes feel pain or pressure on my upper right side so she referred for me to get a ultrasound

      Well that's really good news. If anything we're seriously wrong with your liver function test would show that. Keep us updated on what the ultrasound reveals

    So my doctor just got my ultra sound back amd she says i have fatty liver, something about it being spread out throughout my liver. She didnt seem concern about it, just told me to cut down on fatty food and cut down alot on my alcohol. The ultrasound also showed my kidney and gallbladder were normal.
