Post Menopausal Brown Discharge

Posted , 24 users are following.

Hello everyone. I am 2+ years post menopausal and have had some slight brown discharge/staining and a little bit of cramping. U/A showed my uterus too thick at 9mm with increased vascularity and heterogeneity. Gyno has immediately referred me to Gyn Oncologist - I have a consultation in a few days then likely a D&C. I'm terrified. Any others with the same experience?

So, similar to many on here. About 3 years post menopause, started recently to have the brown spotting plus slight cramps and tender swollen breasts. As I have MS I've been to see my Gp on a regular basis, I was just in there only yesterday. So my question is this, should I get back there again or hang on to see what happens? I had an exam a couple of years ago which found polyps and also at that time I was taking steroids which accounted for any bleeding. This time I'm not taking them but the breast tenderness and bloating. Tx for any replies xx

      Hi Baggie

It won't hurt to mention to your GP about how you are now.

If it's only to put your mind at rest. I'm on several different medications and put a lot of my problems down to these, it's hard to know whats meds and what's something else.

It could be nothing but best to get checked.

Let me know how you get on

      Xx
