Post viral symptoms / syndrome

Hello eveyone,
I have been diagnosed with "post viral symptons". I have not got a clue what it is.Has anyone heard of this. For over two months I have been suffering from the following:
Heavy head feeling,
unbalanced.
constant pressure in the head
flu like symptons but no fever.
Pins and needles in left and right leg. Sometimes hot and cold flushes in the leg.
Prickly feeling in the arms
Muscle fatigue or cramping in the hands. I feel like my hands are so stiff sometimes.
Fatigue all the time ( despite having a good sleep).
Apparently I had a viral infection and then one by one these symptons appeared. it is dragging me down. I have MRI, blood test which came back okay except for slight raised "infection".
Does anyone else have these symptons? It is dragging me down. Is there a solution. The Dr says there is no treatment but it will disspear or subside on its own... when? when? when? Some days I can handle it other days I want to just curl up.
No offence but this syndrome just sounds so wishy washy. Could I be misdiagnosed?
Sad Elle.

I relate to every thing you have said, but I have been dealing with it for 16 years. The first time it lasted 7 years to the point I was walking with two canes.A specialist did say my problems were probably caused by a virus but there is no test to tell which virus and me treatment but I will probably get better in time.Which I did after 7 years. But then 4 years ago I came down with the flu and the symptoms returned for 2 years. I did get better. But then in January of this year 2016 I came down with the flu again and the symptoms returned. It has been 7 months now and every week I get a little worse.Walking is extremely difficult,I feel stiff and sore like I just finished running a marathon or like when you feel when you have the flu. I have flu like symptoms but no fever. The pressure headaches.Pretty well everything you said, except in 16 years not a single doctor has been willing to make a diagnosis . I use to run marathons, felt sick towards the the end of the last one I ran, never ran another one after that,I was 34.by 42 I had to give up running that was in 2000 when my symptoms made me realize that there was a problem. I am 58 now. I do work full time but every day at work is a living hell.It seems like it will take me a couple of years to recover again.I think the flu shot in 2000 made things worse but there is no way to prove that. I did get the flu shot for a number of years.I didn't make the connection at the time. I worked for a medical laboratory at the time and was require to get the flu shot annually, I did get better when I decided to stop getting the flu shot due to the fact that I wasn't well.I try to avoid getting the flu but it is not always possible to avoid it. I hope this information helps a bit, your symptoms are extremely similar to mine

Then a b-12 blood test and mal-nourishment of healthy produce.
In January my thyroid level was off and I was mal-nourished and tired all the time. Hipo-thyroid disease and a symptom of this disease is being tired all the time, lack of energy, depression, anxiety.
Hope this helps.

I don't suffer from fatigue, depression or anxiety. I sleep well and wake up rested, but I usually wake up nauseous,my muscles are sore and stiff. I have trouble walking, even walking 100 metres can make me feel nauseous. I gave up running 14 years ago because excessive made me nauseous. I first noticed problems related to exercise 40 years ago, I gave up running marathons 24 years ago.As I get older I the symptoms after the flu get worst. I have had every test the doctors can think of in the last 40 years.

Hey Elle. I really did you find out what's all behind these symptoms? Because I am also facing them and curious to know that is it something serious?

Hey Elle, I know it's been a year but I had glandular fever and all these symptoms the past 5 weeks. I'm cynical. If you read this can you tell me if it's gone for you or do you live with it or did it end up being something different ?
Thankyou in advace

Just discovered your post. A few years late! I hope you've since received versed fully, if not, have you tried giving yourself a treatment of good bacteria? I've had the same issue for years. After every flu, I'd get the same symptoms you describe. Always used to respond with an actively which people laughed but hey, it helped. I recently upped the anti and tried a course of Bioglan Proobiotics. Immedate impact. No more symptoms. Just thought I'd passed this message on...! Best wishes JN
