Premique Low Dose - Not in stock anywhere?

Posted , 41 users are following.

After many years on Premique Low Dose, I now find it is not in stock at any Chemists. Is anyone else having the same problem? If so, is there a similar HRT I can change to?

My GP's pharmacy manager has just telephoned me to advise on the result of her telephone call to Pfizer this morning (Friday 27 January 2017).

Premique low dose is now available once again.  However, Premique 'high dose' and Prempak-C have been permanently withdrawn and will not be manufactured again.

Sharon, Pfizer have said it's back in stock I would assume that means generally, but I'm in East Anglia if that makes a difference.  Delighted to have been able to help!

The 'high dose' is no longer being manufactured, but the low dose is.  Tell your chemist that Pfizer have confirmed they are still making Premique low dose and they should be able to obtain stocks, if they try.

      Hi Trish

I think that we ladies are old enough to decide wether we should continue with HRT as we know the risks, its our choice and our bodies. I cannot imagine life without it, its grim, and anything that makes us feel "Normal" has got to be a bonus.x

I dont know why it was ever named "MENOPAUSE"  It should be called the insanePause, because thats how it made me feel, out of control of me

Trish the high dose Premique has been discontinued by Pfizer and is no longer being manufactured - there will be no more supplies.

On the other hand, Premique low dose is STILL being manufactured, and is back in stock generally.

This information is direct from Pfizer themselves.
