I am glad that I'm getting some good responses on here so far. It really helps to know that I am not alone with everything that I'm feeling. I'm just wondering what all of our symptoms can be related to...if a doctor would actually be able to get down to the root cause of it all. It would be interesting to know what the answers are. Is it all stress and anxiety related?... Or some kind of imbalance in our bodies?... Vitamin deficiency?... Who really knows. But I feel like I've been having test after test done over the last few years or so...and still no clear answers for my symptoms. All I know is that they are very debilitating...and I feel like I've been doing the best that I can to try and feel better...and just getting more and more frustrated in the process

I'm due for consultation with an ENT surgeon to discuss an operation called 'balloon sinoplasty' of the sphenoid sinus cavity. I've had 3 head scans and none have provided conclusive proof that my sphenoid sinus cavity is partially blocked but I have most of the symptoms and been getting a horrible bloody mucus release out of mainly my left nostril. When this happens my symptoms reduce. I went 8 months with this horrible head pressure, worse when bending down or leaning over. Then 6 months ago it seemed to start to come out, it has to be the sphenoid sinus cavity. I believe when I have this operation I will feel better.

Worrying thing is that this doesn't seem to show on scans.

Hopefully the operation went smoothly, and how's your symptoms? Do you feel better? I went to a lot of doctors.. But no one seems understand my problem..

Hi. I have meeting with ENT surgeon in 10 days. With me it's because my sphenoid sinus cavity is swollen and partially blocked. The operation is called balloon sinoplasty. Basically they use a balloon to open the airways in that cavity. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people out there suffering from this as it's often dismissed as nothing on scans.

Can you explain your symptoms in detail, that way I might be able to tell if it's the same as me?

      Thank you for your reply,

I have been suffering with neck pain since 7 months ago, but the accute moment was 3 months ago when i was doing yoga. Suddenly i was so dizzy and my head is so heavy. I was having a lil bit of cold that day, but just regular cold. Since then It gets worst, my head feels like 200 lb when i wake up in the morning. The pressure is radiating from the bridge of my nose and between my eyes. i ended up in the ER. And they did ct scan, MRI, lumbar puncture.. Everything is normal. And the doctors always related this to depression. But i feel depress because of the pressure on my head, but not the other way around. The CT scan also says it's not because of sinuses.

If it doesn't show up on your scan, how did they diagnose it?

The scan was deemed normal but it does show signs of a blockage. The operation will confirm whether this is the problem.

Hey guys sorry I didn't want to frustrate you more with my symptoms and decided to wait till I find a solution. I think i did find a solution Dramamine or meclizine. I was diagnosed finally with a vertigo and still dong ENG and others tests to find out if it is from the inner ear but those medications really helped me a lot.

Hello, it feels good to know that i am not the only one that has this problem.  I was on my was to the gym this sunday and had a sharpe pain that ran from my neck to the top of my head, went to er had a CT scan done and was told that i have Sinusitis. They gave me Augmentin to take for 14 day, but still feel the pressure in my head like fluid draining, now ears hurt and have pressure around my nose.  Thought i had a brain aneurysm, but i can only pray that the docs really took a good look at my CT and didnt see anything, i am hopfully that after i complete the meds that it will all be fine. I have high BP but am taking Lisinopril 10 mg and my pressure has been down for the last few weeks.  But this feeling is scaring me

The way you describe how you feel is how I feel. Was it sphenoid sinusitis that you were diagnosed with? I've had this for 14 months now, think I'm getting an operation soon.

Hi everyone.. So, a little over a year ago I posted desperately as you all have, with all your symtoms & at a complete loss. It's been the worst year of my life, I've never felt more alone & down & to add to that having doctors basically make out I'd been imagining/making up my symtoms! I researched everywhere & tried everything... Anyway, last Wednesday I went for a medical examination for an unrelated car crash I was in some 8 months ago. Whilst there I off loaded to the specialist about my symtoms & frustrations with docs. He immediately diagnosed that the cause is my upper & mid trapezius muscles & diagnosed 6-8 physio Appointments. Now to say I was sceptical would be putting it lightly but it gave me hope. As soon as I was out of that office I googled it... Seeing my exact symtoms there in black & white was like winning the lottery... I'm not ashamed to say I cried for a good 20 minutes or so! I've since been doing the 3 little exercises he recommend whilst I wait for my appointment & have been sleeping on one hard pillow as recommended & for a week now I have been 100% normal!!! PLEASE I urge you ALL to look up the symtoms for 'upper & middle trapezius muscle' & see for yourselves. I genuinely feel (as dramatic as it sounds) as though this one random medical examiner has saved my life. Sorry it's took so long to tell you, I forgot my password to here & it's took me this long to get round to resetting it! Best of luck to every single one of you! Xx
