Hi. I'm in contact with Alan, he is still suffering as am I. I'm in contact with lots of people from here. So far 5 have finally been disgnosed, 1 with migraine, 4 with sphenoid sinus problems. I myself believe my problem is because of a blocked sphenoid ostia. I also believe this condition shows on scans but not enough to be deemed anything else than normal. I will soon be getting an operation to open up the sinus cavity. The cavity is right in the centre of the head and if blocked can caused symptoms such as pressure, headaches, dizziness. I'm hoping one day to get this condition know as ENT specialists know about it.

Hey guys just thought you would be interested in checking out eye strain symptoms I two had similar symptoms to many of the ones I seen here I also noticed that some people were saying there's pressure above the neck in the back of the skull which is where the visual cortex is located also I read somebody say that when they close their eyes it helps, sparking me on eye strain this two is a way to combat eye strain just relaxing them from time to time hope this helps you

Hey to the both of you... I know this post is over a year old but wanted to follow up on this... did you or the other person find out what it was? I've got an actual diagnosis for what has caused mine. Also I am currently on amitriptilin as well as baclofen both help with it hand in hand, but have noticed that I'll have 3 days of pressure with no relief from the two meds, but sleeping it off helps, but who can really afford to sleep for 3 days... if I get a response from either of you, I'll post my diagnosis. Also does the pain shoots up the neck and head on the right side and feel like a sharp knife trying to exit out your head just above the right eye socket?

Well my symptoms are very related, I was diagnosed with SYRINGOMYELIA and tethered spine since birth that causes pressure in my spine along with many other symptoms that are irreversible and currently no cure for. It's a good read for anyone if you wanted to look into it. Hope everyone else's symptoms subside and you all find relief soon.

I have had a constant feeling of movement inside my head 24/7 for almost 4 years now. It goes in waves through my mouth, nose or various parts of my head like my brain is bouncing against my skull. It moves constantly almost like the little pinwheel icon on a PC when it's loading something and can throb with the beat of my heart. I have had an MRI on my head and spine which has ruled out a brain tumour or MS but now a fourth neurologist has diagnosed "chronic daily headache" which he put down to the large amount of painkillers I was on for several years due to 7 vertebrae fracturing while I was going through chemotherapy. It actually doesn't really hurt but can be a very heavy pressure on top of my skull sometimes which is quite debilitating. Not only that but I also have a tingling feeling in the genital area but only when I'm sitting! I have been on 5 different medications over the years, each with it's own problems. Amytriptiline caused my urine to stop so I had to give that up along with side effects of others too. Duloxetine caused me to be "wired" and I couldn't sleep and when I looked it up on Google I found that "discontinuation" symptoms included paresthesia which to all intents and purposes this condition is. I have decided not to take any meds at all, have completely come off Oxycontin and I am pursuing natural medications to see if that will work. BTW I have tried acupuncture too with no effect. Next stage might be hypnotherapy.

I haven't heard of either of these but will look them up. No the pressure doesn't go behind my eyes but sometimes it feels as if a screwdriver is trying to burrow into the top of my head all whilst my skull is bouncing around as if it were a hot-air balloon blowing about but tethered by cables. I don't know what is worse, the constant movement in my head or the feeling there's an electric toothbrush against my genitals when I'm sitting. (And I cannot stand for longer than 5 minutes because of the pain in my back) It gets so bad sometimes that I have to sit on the recliner and hold my bottom in the air. I'll have to Google Chiari and Syringomyelia to get some info. Thanks.

When I have the pressure in my head, for instance in this moment right now, I can feel it from the back of my head to behind my eyes and occasionally around my nose. I've been to several Dr's. Some say it's a tension headache but now this Dr I saw is treating me for bacterial sinus infection so prescribed amoxicillin. No one has offered to give me an MRI or CT scan. I was concerned about a tumor but no one else is. If I lay down the pressure is worse but only when the episodes of pressure are already present. Leaning forward also creates pressure. I felt the headaches that made my brain feel like it was on fire. It has been off aND on now for 13 days.

I'm frustrated. Here I am 4 hours later the pressure has yet to subside. I took my antibiotic, an alkaseltzer cold and flu capsule, used my Flonase and ran some vics in a pot of boiling water in my bedroom. I am tired and want to sleep but any pressure on my head like lying on my pillow creates more pressure inflicting uncomfortable bouts of pain. It makes me afraid to sleep in case it leads to something worse. I catch myself dozing off and on while constantly Googling my symptoms. My head is throbbing and my eyes and head feel like exploding. I'm losing my patience. Also earlier for the first time my cheeks were red and mildly puffy almost looked like a rash. Was a little warm to touch but still no sign of fever. I need relief from this pressure. Normally the pressure attacks don't lasthink thing long. I am so tired

Also to add to the symptoms, I have had a lot of ear popping for 3 days now. I also have constant yawning. I thought the yawning was due to the citalopram but I stopped using it after 3 days and that was a week ago. I started with the migraines neck pains stiffness and pressure after a trip to the lake where I got water up my nose. It's been a very long debilitating 2 weeks of all of this. I feel so badly for those of you that have experienced these symptoms for longer then I have. I wouldn't wish these on my worst enemy

my symptons are what you describe but all the DRs i've been to just blow it off like i should just live with it. probably because i'm 89 and they dont want to take any responcebility. i've had 4 mris ,3 cts but6 no one will do comparative cts like when the pressur builds up, after bending over several times tried all sorts of meds , no relief
