Its nice to see im not the only one feeling these things, im going on 4 years with what i believe is panic attack disorder( never been diaognosed by medical proffessional).  recently i started getting mild dull headaches with weird pressure in my head and pain in my neck. and this point im just tired of it. been to the doctors who dont seem overly concerned with it. been tested with nothing to show whats going on. if anybody has any suggestions id been glad to hear them or even to talk more about the subject.

Hi justin61128, i have been having panic attack a couple of times separately, i have the symptoms of weird head pressure, dull headache neck pain along with dizzy spells episodic. I always think the worst thing scenario like tumor. Do you feel tense up when during panic attack? Been like this for overly 6 monthd now have it 24/7. I too be glad to get some advice or suggestions.

I like a lot of you have had a mixture of all of these symptoms, For me the Eyes and the pain around them is the biggest problem, If i watch TV or use a Computer (my job) my symptoms flare up, and then it feels as though there is a baloon being inflated behind my nose. I am now 2.5 years into this and without writing an essay it has been VERY distressing, life destroying.

I have managed to make some GOOD progress in the pain/annoyance level of the symptoms. to cut a long story short. I spent over £7000 trying to get the Diagnosis! Seeing every specialist of almost every field of medicine. The deeper into the search i got the more intense my symptoms became.

    WHAT HELPED ME?

The first thing was reading a book about TMS. It, together with a couple more TMS related books eliviated my symptoms by about 50%. i would never have guessed that something other than surgeory could have any positive effect on my condition.

The second things that Helped was simply accepting the fact that i had a problem that did not have a diagnosis and learning to live with it. I fought tooth and nail to get my diagnosis and yet i was unaware that this fight in itself not only depleets your energy levels but increases anxeity and depression which for me DEFINATELY increases the symtpoms intensity and lengevity.

Now i am Mr Jolly i simply don't get depressed it's not who i am. But give anyone a problem like any of the problems listed on this forum posting for a few years and you can bet that depression and anxeity will find a way in. You have to face something every day and it erodes you, this mind set feeds in to your illness and a downward spiral can occur, ever so gradually, it creeps up on you, so that you are unaware of it.

if you can imagine that you have a battery's worth of energy every day. If you spend 50% of that energy, entertaining the fact that you have anything from MS to Irlen Syndrome to SSS syndrome and whatever, then you are depleeting the energy you need to live your life. And what do you get out of using energy in this way. A very sad and anxious outlook, surrounding yourself with fear, this in itself drains away yet more energy. So now lack of motivation comes into it.

What shifted for me was nothing short of what i call an epithany. I woke up one day rock bottom, i couldn't go on, My neck, shoulders, eyes and ears and pressure were all playing up. i went and had a cigarette, it tasted disgusting. Then something happened i flicked the cigarette away (my last one), decide to do exercise every week day badminton/tennis/weights, i carried out a VERY good 20 minute stretch routine every morning which focus's on posture (Look up Dr Eric Goodman). I also carried out a mindfullness meditation, 10 minutes of meditation can really reduce symptoms. But also try and squeeze another 10 minutes in at the end of every day. there are plenty of video's which can be googled.

Since that day which was 4 months ago now, my life is sooo much more positive. The symptoms are still there but they seem soo much less significant. They have paled in significance. i would never have thought this could happen. I have my flare ups and i either do mindulfness or tapping which can help. But the Major difference is that i can move on from these flare ups much quicker, they don't linger around like they used to. My body is full focused on going forward and increasing my level of happiness in life. rather then focusing on deperation and hanging on to the next Dr appointment. I still dip in and out occasionally into a forum (like i am doing now) to see if there is some magical cure which may have been discovered. but on the whole i don't feel like i need to anymore, i actually feel better now then i did before my illness.

Learning to accept my illness, to even put an arm around it and welcome it, rather then wrestle with it day in day out, was the wisest step i have taken in my life so far.

It sounds a bit corny/cheesy call it what you like but it worked/works for me.

    Hi Alan,

I just got done reading almost every message on this thread. I see that many of you posted 3 if not more years ago. I'm about 90-95% sure I know what all of you are suffering from. I didn't want to type it all out if any of you finally got answers to your health issues. I had the same symptoms for many, many years before I finally got a smart doctor that figured it all out. Please let me know if you or any of the others are still having the same issues. Thanks.. Lorene

Please do tell, despite managing my condition much better than I have before, I would love to hear anything that could address the root cause

    Hi Alan

I'm glad I stumbled upon your post and found so many other people suffering from these bizarre symptoms that are making it more and more difficult to face everyday.

I did get some relief from seeing an acupuncturist, so that's a thought for anyone following the discussion.

However, my trusty acupuncturist moved and the next one I tried did not help.  Plus, since acupuncture is not covered by health insurance now, very pricey.

Have you checked your ears?  I somehow think my ear(s) are involved....

I have been to sooooo many (different kinds of) doctors about this, non of whom have helped at all.  So frustrating.  Interested to hear if anyone gets a diagnosis.  We can't all be crazy!

    Good luck to everyone here.

A couple people have said this, but PLEASE consider trying acupuncture. After suffering from my headche for 6 months, I thought I had done everything...pediatricians, neurologists, medicine, eye doctor, MRI, and more. I finally decided to go to the acupuncturist and after 4 sessions, once a week, my headaches were 95% better. You have to do your research and make sure you go to the right person, but my acupuncturist says she can't remember how many years it's been since she couldn't cure a headache, or at least make it better. Please consider giving it a shot because I know how it feels lose all hope because of your headaches. Best of luck!

Hi all , I really sympathise with everyone's plight on this forum having suffered

From horrendous headaches 24/7 for over a year , I had all the scans and medication etc

And like most on here nothing was found and no medication helped !! As I've previously

Wrote on this forum I trawled the web for help and someone advised to read a boot called

Heal your headache by David bucholz honestly this book changed my life so I'd advise

Anyone suffering as I did to get to the library or purchase this book as I did

Asap , I read it in a day and within a week my headaches were under control

I still get occasional headaches but at least now I know they will pass if I follow the advice in the book

If anyone needs advice please contact me , it's all to do with your threshold for getting headaches

Dropping and controlling triggers ie diet etc that cause the triggers to pass your lowered threshold

And cause headaches , hope this helps and good luck everyone
